Da Beans Green Café

If you’re a local artist or like art but don’t want to deal with pretentious people then you’ll love this place! Most eating establishments all have the same boring cookie cutter “art” on their walls. Da Beans Green has work from all local Big Island artists! Plus it’s all for sale and the artist gets 90% which is unheard of since most places on BI only give the artists 40-70% of their sold work 🌈
It’s an amazing, inviting atmosphere, great food and the most unique coffee on all of Big Island. I had the chocolate & raspberry stuffed French toast and I swear I died and went to heaven 😇 A MUST STOP while traveling here.

Awesome side of the road coffee stop with excellent decor and delicious food. The green bean coffee is delicious and unique, with inspired flavor pairings. Local artwork decorates the walls of the cozy lounge.
The owners are super friendly and passionate, they clearly put their hearts into this beautiful cafe!

A cute, small cafe with some very unique options. Be aware that the online menu is a bit out-of-date and a good amount of the dishes listed on the menus you’ll find online weren’t being served when we visited (early November 2022). But the owners were kind and offered us tasty alternatives off the menu and we had a great experience! Worth a stop if you’re looking to try something special and different.

A must try!!! Perfect place for unique coffee/ Cafe experience. The raw green coffee is more like a mix between tea and coffee. But very delicious. The grilled cheese(even with sprouts) was amazing. The salmon wrap was perfect balance. Slushies liked by all in group. Can't forget to mention the inspirational local art.

Interesting and unique! They have the coffee shop artsy vibe down. The green coffee was not my jam. The gentleman who waited on us seemed very knowledgeable on their process.
I did not feel much caffeine from my ice brew green bean.
Nobody was there at first and we waited a bit to be acknowledged or greeted. No big deal to us, very laid-back vibe.
Coffee is about $8 each.

Adorable coffe shop/cafe with tons of books and art to enjoy. Food and drinks are made with health in mind, wholesome local ingredients. The truffle avo toast was like nothing I’ve ever had before. Will be back! Appreciated having gluten free bread for the delicious French toast.

Da Beans Cafe was a great experience overall! We were kindly welcomed the second we walked in to the cute cafe.
The man working have us lots of good suggestions as to what to get and helped us pick what to get. We had never tried raw coffee before and enjoyed the experience! We also has French toast that was amazing, and hot off the grill.
Would definitely recommend this spot!

This was my first time drinking coffee made from raw green coffee and it was quite yummy!! Not so much coffee like, more like a Chai tea. Very light, but tasty and I felt great all day! For flavoring I had marshmallow, vanilla and macadamia nut added and oh my gosh it was delicious! The owners were also very friendly and explained everything about green beans. I'm telling you if this cafe was by my house I would be be their biggest customer! I can't wait to go back to the Big Island just to get some more of this amazing coffee!

Perfect little pit stop on the side of the road between Hilo and Volcanoes National Park. The gentleman working was very knowledgeable and helpful explaining what exactly raw coffee is… delicious but totally different than what you’d expect coffee to taste like! Would totally recommend to anyone that enjoys the local spots. My only recommendation to the owners is that the hours on Google do not appear to be accurate. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
