Maui Bees

Great family business. Friendly people and friendly dogs. The bee room was pretty cool where you can see a couple of hives in clear boxes. My boys had fun trying to find the Queen. Minimally processed honey is always good IMO. We bought the winter, summer, and macadamia honey. Haven’t tried them all yet but bees alway make it perfect.

We stumbled across this sweet place after a sunrise visit to Haleakala. Set in the countryside this place was so peaceful and the coffee was delicious. 6 out of 5 stars!

Amazing tour, Aaron was so knowledgeable about bees and bee keeping. 250 hives at their farm as well as being natural and organic! We reached out to schedule a tour through email and they were extremely accommodating. Small group tour was perfect.

Able to smoke and see a live hive and we found a queen! Buy their 3 pack of honey: summer, winter, and Mac nut! They're all so different and very tasty! (My favorite is the winter, my mom likes the Macadamia nut!)

My favorite place in all of Maui! So peaceful, and amazing views of both Haleakala and the ocean. The U-pick gardens are the perfect way for this small farm to be open to the community. Their care for the land and the bees shows in the quality of their produce and amazing honey. I love this place!

Maui Bees Farm is a beautiful, special gem. The kids learning tour was really well done and Ashley and Aaron did a phenomenol job keeping the kids interested and engaged. From the bee museum to making beeswax candles, to eating a delicious farm-fresh lunch, to Mark and his fun farm tour focusing on sustainable agriculture and lesson in composting...we loved it all and had such a great day.

Great staff, and great product! Tried and bought their summer honey, fermented hot sauce, also got the fermented chili garlic and honey paste.

Just a lovely experience. Best homemade cookies ever, delicious honey and excellent location with gorgeous views. Take the time to go see the bees and enjoy the lovely farm. Thank you for making our day!

So enjoyed the Hands On tour of Maui Bees! As we suited up, Levi did a wonderful job explaining hive behavior and pointing out the nuances that exist in bee communication. Watching the little girls hatching and getting right to work was amazing! The farm is as peaceful as it is beautiful, and the community is very friendly. May be the BEST honey I've ever tasted! This is a must-see! Especially if you are a gardener, bee lover, or an animal lover. Patty was absolutely wonderful and took time to answer questions and explain many things to us, even though we came after 5. (They’re open till 6!) Everyone was sweet, welcoming, and informative. The border collies were super sweet as well. ❤️ Honey and greens = fantastic organic food, wonderful flowers = food for the soul. Can’t beat that.
