Do I come here every day I'm in Kauai and also wear the shirt around when I'm back in the mainland like a weird groupie? Yes, but in my defense their espresso drinks are all amazing and their food is so good. Special shout out to their cortado (both Kai and traditional) and to their pancakes / waffles.

Great spot if you want to get an early coffee or matcha. For matcha lovers, they got large cup sizes which is good if you need the extra boost and on top, the staff is super nice.

Unfortunately the experience was bad. The blueberry muffin was stale, cold, straight from the fridge. It is an art to make something so tasteless and unpleasant. The service was polite but mediocre. The cashier told us to go to the table, and then forgot about our coffee and muffin. Coffee was fine.

This became our go-to place to grab coffee. Quality and flavor was on point and the vibe inside is great.

The Mac Nut Latte is one of the best iced lattes I've ever had. That isn't an exaggeration.

This place is an absolute must. My wife and I came here while on vacation in Kauai and got hooked.

Their Mac nut latte and Boozy Coffee were sensational. So much so that we came here every day that we were on the island and on multiple occasions, found ourselves planning our day around our trip to this coffee house.

Moreover, their food is also fantastic. For anyone who is a vegetarian and/or vegan, they have plenty of high quality and fresh options. The lemon ricotta pancakes, Fetta Mo’ Betta bagel and the Quinoa Bowl were our favorites.

All in all, a fantastic coffee house that we will truly miss.

Great pastry selection that they've had for years. Reliably good coffee that gives you the nice buzz any time of day. Açai Berry Bowl hits the spot on a hot day. Catch a seat outside for a view of the mountains.

One of the best everything bagels we've had outside of the NY area, and the coffee and pork burrito were also fabulous. We tried two other coffee places during our stay and Java Kai was by far the best. Wish we had found them earlier, we would have come every day!
