A great latte to sit down and pause for a moment and soak in your surroundings.

For the latte, it tastes like a medium roast latte, where you get a hit of acidity that mellows out. I got a 6 oz latte and it took about halfway for the taste to saturate in my mouth and I was craving for more after that.

For the environment, it is quite peaceful sitting outside sipping on your coffee while listening to all the cars wiz by. Although there isn’t much outdoor sitting, this is an excellent place to sit down and relax for a moment.

We went of a caffeine crawl around town to all my favorite cafes. This place pulls out all the stops. They roast their own coffee, they have their own parklet, car parking and really have the nice vibe of your local neighborhood cafe.

A hidden nook in the busy streets of Kaimuki lies this quaint cafe with a lot of coffee and tea options - there's also hot chocolate if you want to avoid the caffeine. They also have sandwiches if you would like to take a light bite. The aesthetics is very fun and vibrant. There is not a lot of seating available, many people do come in and get their coffee to go but if you get to sit it's a fun place to people watch. There is also limited parking space that is shared for visitors of the building.

Quaint coffee shop in Kaimuki’s Waialae avenue. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about coffee. I got the drip coffee since I wanted to try something different. I chose the Honduras, which is a nee arrival and recommended by staff. Happy to report that it did not disappoint. Their house espresso was also delicious. We also got the iced latte.

They roast the coffee beans in the store and they can also grind the beans for you when you purchase a bag.

The seating is area is outdoors and a little cramped but doable. It’s more of a grab a coffee and go kind of place rather than a sit down coffee shop in my opinion. There is also extra seating outside few feet away from the store.

10/10. We went back the next day!

Clean, well-pulled espresso. Simple drinks make with artisanal syrups. Friendly and well-versed staff. Charming and creative environment.

If you’re in the area, go. Don’t even consider the other options. Just go.

Parking & location: this place is on the ground floor of a multi-tenant building, RIGHT next to a 7-11. There is parking within the building or on the street.

Very cute, far away than crowded side of the city. They do not threat you like a tourist. Very friendly, smiling workers. Their menu is pretty cute , they have ‘babyccino’ 🥰

Great specialty coffee cafe. Certified SCA cafe. Staff recommend drip coffee was delicious!

Barista was top notch. Super knowledgeable and friendly, and she seemed incredibly vested in making sure the coffee was dialed to a customer’s preferences.

I am really an amateur when it comes to coffee when it comes to origins and espresso pull times, but I was told by someone more clued in than myself this was the real deal.

Croque Monsieur was fantastic. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Bean about town is a very cute coffee shop, with amazing service. The barista working was so friendly and bright! We got the energy balls, they were perfect to fuel for our hike. I also got the oat milk latte with honey and it was smooth and bold. They also seek a few locally made goods, including syrups made with sugarcane and mugs and espresso cups. They are of following covid restrictions and only allow one household in the shop at a time but they do have some outdoor seating as well. Highly recommend stopping by!!

I miss Tahitian grown coffee II grew up with! First time at this coffee place and I knew the taste transported back to my childhood growing on a tiny island of the South Pacific! Naturally, when the owner came to say hi to my friend who is also from Tahiti, I have to ask where his beans came from, he told me from Tahiti but wanted me to guess which island? I knew only two places they grew them, It took only two guesses! He said it is a secret!🤫taste is special!
