These are the best coffee pods ever! They are packed full of coffee feel noticeably heavier than any other pod I’ve used. The coffee is smooth and rich and delicious! And I can pop it in the composter after enjoying it because it’s all biodegradable. Thank you Ulu!! 😊☕️
I took my sister to Ulu for my second coffee farm tour there, led by knowledgeable, welcoming and hardworking Trixie. You drive in, and are immediately greeted at this oasis of fruit, mac nut and coffee trees by her and her canine companion Brownie. We were treated to handmade snacks and invited to crack mac nuts while we sampled two types of coffee. We also learned about the rich, uniquely important volcanic soil, the land where it sits and the history of their specific farm. Trixie explained the process so well walking through the grove, that upon first sip, you are present in the moment. Right there, tasting with new tastebuds and able to take everything in, while able to simultaneously appreciate it with a newfound knowledge of these simple, yet complex beans the world loves. I highly recommend this Top-10-placing Kona cup (Nov. 2022) farm to visitors and residents alike. I most certainly will be back to visit from Colorado for the warm company and incredible coffee. 🤙🏼
I have had a lot of coffee in my life and this absolutely is my favorite. Referred to me by a good friend, I bought a few bags off their website just to check them out. I am now on the subscription plan. It can run a little expensive but you get a superior product that is hard to find anywhere else. I also recently started buying them as gifts, and it is a major hit with my coffee lover friends. Great product, and will be buying more!
The chocolate covered macadamia nuts are extraordinary! I have always loved macadamia nuts but never really liked them chocolate covered until I discovered these from Ulu. They are entirely different, unique, and wonderful; like no others I have had. Now I am continually ordering them (love the free shipping!) and will be sending them all over the country as Christmas gifts.
There is exceptional coffee- and then there is Ulu. If quality matters to you, then you belong here. If sustainability matters to you- then you belong here. If an appreciation of the finer things in life as a derivative of hard work, craftsmanship, and artisan-level dedication- then you belong here. There is Ulu coffee, and there is everything else. Enjoy it on its own, hot and black. Pair it with food, for an exceptional start to your morning. Or- if you’re like me- stack it with a fine tobacco product. You can’t go wrong. Trust me.
Ulu is the kind of coffee that makes you want to have a slow morning where you can savor the moment. No rush, no drinking it as a means to an ends, but instead truly basking in the ritual of that perfect cup of coffee to start the day. When we have it in our house, we call it the “special” coffee, just like the difference between table wine and the top shelf of the cellar wine. We love sharing it with friends, and have so much respect for the growers of this beautiful Kona coffee!
I love Ulu’s coffee! It’s smooth on the tongue and has notes of fruitiness. Plus they are an organic farm and I like knowing where my coffee comes from! Their Instagram is pretty awesome too!
Love this coffee and farm! Excited for the new special roast like Poppa Kona. I sampled the coffee pods over the weekend and was very impressed. The full flavor and smoothness was very satisfying!
