The Coffee Shack

Call in advance!! Plan to wait a while. I have been here a bunch, and there is always a wait. The view is amazing! You are on the edge of a steep & high slope. Panoramic views of the ocean and surrounded by fruit trees & wildlife. Food is average. Nice local small roadside shack with small town country vibe. I’ll be back again.

We had the pleasure twice! Such excellent breakfast place! Super tasty food and moderate prices.

Not going to lie, we had to wait... BUT so worth the wait. Forgot pics but my daughter and I shared eggs 🥚 bene and my husband got the special, the "Da Bomblet". We ordered a papaya bowl to go and it was fresh and tasty. Everything was so delish, plus we ordered a cinnamon roll and a slice of the Lilikoi cheesecake. So so so good. They also had tons of veggie options. This is one of those don't miss spots, oh and almost forgot the view! Breathtaking.

One of the highlights on our visit to the Big Island - a definite must-go. The view from the porch of the restaurant is spectacular, the service was great, and the food was excellent. A truly unique experience and one of our favorites on the Big Island.

This restaurant is...very much a shack. But breakfast was so good, we came back for lunch a few days later. There's usually a little bit of wait, but they will text you as soon as your table is ready. Food comes out quick, and staff is attentive. Views are beautiful too.

Amazing view and great service. Shout out to our server Jeffrey. He is the bomb. Sandwich 🥪 was delicious but the French toast was bland and dry. It needs a little moist or fruit on top. We’ll be back 🔜 Mahalo 🤙🏽

Phenomenal food and incredible views! I got the Papaya Special, a delicious slice of the signature lilikoi cheesecake, and a nice little table with a view that stretched from the cliffside all the way to the ocean.

While on a recent trip to the Big Island with some friends, we stopped in for a late lunch here. Two of my friends had already come by earlier in our trip and highly recommended so they brought a few more of us for a 2nd trip.

Had a bit of a wait as it is quite popular but it's worth the wait. Had some coffees while waiting. Food, coffee, and views were great.
