First time customers passing through and we loved it. They customized my salad and it was delicious. The firecracker burger was huge and had such flavor! Everything that came out of the kitchen looked scrumptious. We will definitely return to try more of the menu.

This place is very fast, yet very friendly. Service was excellent. Yummy variety of pancakes and awesome Farmers’ Pride Omelet. Didn’t try the huge biscuits for which they’re known, but they look wonderful. I recommend breakfast here. Their lunch menu looks good as well. They close at 2:00.

The Q is awesome. Fresh and unique food. The owner does the cooking but he will take time to talk with you and even make you an off menu request sometimes. The chicken salad sandwich is amazing... But so is everything else. You gotta go!! Love this place.

Great breakfast, lunch, and dinner place in the heart of Thomasville. Southern cuisine with options for almost every palate. My favorite is the "a little bit of chicken fried" breakfast skillet. Staff is friendly, efficient, and fast. The place is not very big, so depending on the time of day, you may have to wait a little bit for a seat, but the food is worth the wait. Also, their homemade biscuits are wonderful. They're called cat's head biscuits, because they are as big as a cat's head.

My husband and I have been eating here for several years when we have an outing in Thomasville. Normally the food is excellent, otherwise we would not continue to return to Q Cafe. On Saturday, my husband ordered the Southern Tradition breakfast and they cooked the eggs sunny side up rather than scrambled. Not a big deal! The waitress immediately took them back to the kitchen and returned with scrambled.
The reason I could only give 2 stars was because I ordered the Salmon BL Sea (which I have ordered numerous times). It was noon and they were out of salmon! The waitress said that they could do the sandwich with grouper. I said OK. The grouper (if that's what it was) was bland. No seasoning and very thin. Grouper is flaky and a thicker piece of fish. It was just OK. What really irritated me was when we received the check. The waitress charged $2.00 for the substitution! She NEVER told me there would be an additional charge AND I don't feel I should have been charged. They ran out of salmon. I didn't substitute grouper for salmon!
Did I challenge it? No. They were busy and I didn't want to create a scene.
Lesson learned for this restaurant and any other...ASK if there is an additional charge! Will we return to Q Cafe?? Of course! But like the saying goes..."Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice, shame on me!"

Food and service are always outstanding! My favorite dish is The Gulf, basically a crab omelette which actually has bits of cream cheese inside with rich hollandaise sauce on top! Such a melt in your mouth dish! However, everything I've had at the Q Cafe is delicious. Service is equally as great! We are always greeted at the door, drinks are always kept filled, very friendly staff, the chef is very friendly as well and always us! The Q Cafe is a must try for great food and friendly service!

Hands down, one of the best little cafe's we have in town. Food is delicious, fast, and reasonably priced. Service has always been top notch. The only downfall, they're not open for dinner and everything on the menu is DELICIOUS! It makes it so hard to choose and them not being open for dinner Is probably best for my checkbook! Ha! Mark is an expert in the kitchen and amazing at his people skills. He always makes an effort to go by the tables. It's that home town feel and food that keeps me coming back. Great job ya'll!

It was yummy and fresh, it's best to order over the phone and just go pick up your order because I don't think they really want any African Americans in there to sit down and eat. As soon as I picked up my order, they stopped eating and looked at me, they were shocked I came inside. I wish the rich, high-class, downtown store owners, mainly the wealthy older generation in Thomasville with all the nice eatery's, wouldn't act this way towards people of color, it really hurts me to my core.😔

I wish every town had a Q and Amory cooking. Shepherds Pie is the best ever and the Low Beni makes mouths crave it from other states upon the mention! Thanks for a great meal every single time.
