Grassroots Coffee

I absolutely love this place. Born and raised in Thomasville but I now live north of Atlanta. When family comes to visit I have them stop and get my white chocolate mocha and pour it into a thermos for the trip 😆. Wish we had a Grassroots here!

Very nice coffee shop. You can actually taste the coffee, which is wonderful.

Meh. I had kind of high expectations coming in here, but they must have been too high because I thought this place wasn't that great.

First of all, the coffee store was literally packed with people. The line seemed to go on forever and moved at a snail's pace. It felt like I waited for an eternity until I was finally able to order.

The menu isn't really that special. They've got pretty much the standard coffee fare, some good baked goods. They were apparently out of a lot of things when I went in based on what I overheard from the baristas.

There seemed to be a lot of baristas working here but the line didn't seem to move any faster. I can't figure out if they were all just socializing or what. None of them were particularly friendly or warm either.

I ordered an iced coffee. It was okay. Not great.

I probably would only come here out of desperation, not for legit coffee. The atmosphere is really cute but this place leaves a lot to be wanted.

Good food, nice sandwich, busy at lunch time.

It's always a pleasure visiting Grassroots. They serve great coffee and have a good breakfast and lunch menu. If you're in town for a visit definitely stop by. If you don't like coffee they make a great cream soda!

Decent coffee and the food is good, but placing a to-go order is like rolling the dice. First time, no cheese on my sandwich, next attempt a month later, lady at counter says, "Are you sure you called us? We don't have your order..." After replacing my order, she states, "Sorry for the confusion." Sorry lady I am not confused. The only confusing part is me leaving a tip everytime I come here. Will still be back for coffee.

Great little Cafe. The coffee was great and the cookies were fresh and tasty. I also had the smoothies - visited several times over the course of a week.

This place has good coffee but very very VERY slow lunch service. I ordered a salad to go...a SALAD that took over 20 minutes to make! It's salad for crying out loud it's not that hard or time consuming to make. I watched to cook and he moves at a snails pace. Either don't offer to go as an option because he can't move quickly or get him some HELP! When people order to go it's because they're in a hurry. I was I needed to get back to work. If I had known that it was going to take over 20 minutes for them to make a salad I would not have ordered it. So in conclusion get the cook some help or don't offer to-go as an option. Make it sit down only for lunch. That way people in hurry know not to come here because you can't serve them in a timely fashion.

I lived in Thomasville for a few months and haven’t been back in years but I love this place.
