The owner is friendly. And it's a good place for people to chill. Especially in Sylvester where the most prominent restaurant seems to be dq. You can go in for coffee, food, or various gaming needs. Magic the gathering, yugioh, d&d etc etc

I absolutely love this place. So much to do under one roof. You want vintage video games.. they got that. Virtual reality ✅. Board games with your friends✅. Huge screen tv with movie night✅. Fresh brewed artisan coffees and teas✅. Special dinner options✅. Foosball, billiards, pinball✅.
And too many more things to list. All with a very helpful and friendly staff. I highly recommend Alchemy!

Great place to go and have some coffee, hot meal, duel (Yu GI Oh), play chess/some arcade games, even just chill with some manga. The staff are really amazing. If your anything like me it feels more like your at a friend's place (second home) than a shop.

Awesome atmosphere, definitely a SW GA gem! Food was made to order and was delectable, AND affordable!

This place is amazing! Amazing food and coffee ! I like to travel to different coffee shops and this was my first time there. I knew about the place, but had to wait until it opened back up. The owner and staff were very helpful and explained how everything worked. All kinds of different coffee from around the world and they make coffee the way it supposed to be made, without all the different machines. Definitely will be back!

Fantastic service and a wonderfully knowledgeable staff! They make it feel like home with an arcade, homemade food and their very own blend of coffees! Great selection of CCGs both sealed and singles too. Worth every penny to hang out and enjoy the day!

Having been a friend of Tim for about a year now, he's actually made me feel comfortable around large groups of people. Through most of the week that I work, I'll occasionally stop by afterwards to hang out, or have lunch, which is awesome by the way. The staff are always conversationalists, so you'll never feel lonesome, and the food is of top quality. Their menu, which is unique because you can make it your own, is always improving. Unfortunately, I have not dined there in the evening time, which also holds some more secret dishes and treats that you can get from evening to evening.
Aside from being a restaurant, they're also a "geek shop", as many of us would call it. If you have a certain hobby, Alchemy's will most likely cater to it. They do buy and sell certain merchandise, which is totally flexible, because if he doesn't have it, he will certainly try and have it in stock for said customers. And if that's not your style, he has arcade machines and leisure games set up for customers to enjoy. But all in all, I'd definitely recommend this to an individual, and hope they see it the way I do. And Tim, thank you for all you've done for me, bro. I really appreciate it.

It's a fun place to hang out, have a nerdy time, and even have a meal. Geek dates are also possible here. My only downside is that it gets rather hot during summer. Other than that, go! Have a good time! Tell Tim I sent you!

The google listing has this place marked as a bistro/coffee shop. I wouldn’t go as far as to label them as either. Though you can purchase a coffee or some food, it isn’t what this shop is about. The vibe is as if you walked into a large group of friends hanging out, and you are the random person, who doesn’t belong, but was awkwardly asked to come in and hang around anyway. The food selection is limited. I ordered a turkey burger. The meat was flavorless, the bread was soggy and falling apart, and I questioned how well the meat was cooked through. I decided it wasn’t worth the risk half-way through the burger and threw out the rest.
There was little-to-no ventilation as the food was prepared; and as I left the location, the smell of their grill was deep into the fabric of my clothing. I had to change clothes soon after because it was so strong.
I am happy to see Sylvester has a place for people to gather and play games. If I were looking for a place to play magic and video games, this would have been ideal; but for someone passing by, looking for a meal/coffee, I would suggest some place else.
