A sweet little low-key spot. Food was amazing and satisfying.

Cute spot! Lots of options for brunch. Loved their mini bread with chocolate.

We LOVED this foodie joint! I saw an article that included them a couple of weeks ago and knew we had to try a new authentic spot like this.
Troupial is special! The service, being incredible, doesn’t outdo the food... which is an entire accomplishment. The coffee was as flavorful as a glass of wine. My partner and I went for the empanadas and found that they were out, so we explored the menu, trying pastelitos andinos with beef, grilled Venezuelan cheese (OMGoodness!), French bread and butter, perico-style eggs, the golfeado, and their aeropressed coffee.
EVERYTHING was phenomenal. The amount of flavor could bring a tear to the eye of the least emotional person at the table. You, whoever you are, cannot miss this place!
When you read about the woman that started Troupial, it just breathes more life into the experience. What an inspiring but subtly-told story of female entrepreneurship! Savannah is here for it.

Excellent!! The vibe, friendly service and food are great. A unique gem in a cookie-cutter world.

Troupial is amazing. You should go there right now. The cafe is just the cutest place, so welcoming and clean and cozy. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The owner, Majo, is so knowledgeable and passionate about coffee. We a few coffees, including the Bonbon both visits. Yes, it was so good we went twice during our short stay in Savannah. The arepas are delicious. We had the shredded beef and the chicken salad, again so good we ordered both times. They have all these Venezualan pastries... we tried many and took several home with us also. Especially good are the chocolate mini bread, the pan de jamon, and golfeado.

We were recommended to try this place for breakfast by a server at Cotton & Rye. We were really looking forward to trying it and checked the hours listed on Google to plan our last morning in Savannah. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the restaurant was closed to the public. Perhaps there was a private event. I just wish the owners or admins had considered that people planned to come and that it is very simple to change or add temporary hours on Google. That way people know and don't waste their time planning on visiting your business.
