Updated review:
We were shocked to find that their menu looks nothing like it used to. Check before you go, in case you are not local, like us!
The last time we ate here was April 2021 and it was already odd that some of the staples were missing (the amazing mushroom tacos), but by November 2021 they removed their Garlic Bread, chickpea curry, pancakes, and a few other originals that we’ve fallen in love with. They provided no reason and sounded super dismissive at our utter shock.
We drove 7 hours for a dinner here which was, of course, our fault for not checking but still… why would you remove best-sellers off your menu? 😳
We did our own research tonight and found the new vegan place in town, opened by a former co-founder of Fox & Fig. So luckily, all the favorite vegan items and more are just a “Google search” away.
We may still come back for the Fox burger though. Their food was always good. Just shocking that they gave up on their amazing menu.

Our favorite vegan place in Savannah, hands-down. Every time we travel up from Florida, we always come here for brunch. The garlic bread is a must have!
The cafe staff is always very nice and friendly. The restaurant is situated across from a beautiful square, so we’ll just grab a blanket and have a picnic nearby. Makes for wonderful morning or afternoon date.

Fox-ocado toast was good. The Fruit One smoothie was healthy and not bad. If they would add one date to the smoothie it would be a grand slam instead of a single. Unfortunately didn't seem interested in the suggestion. There were a lot of flies since we were eating outside. We made a decoy for them and it worked out.

I came here 4 times while I was Savannah for a week. Genuinely delicious vegan food and great drinks. Even if you are not vegan, there’s something here for everyone and it’s worth a visit. The lavender mocha is wonderful and the nachos are awesome. Very glad I came here multiple times to try other items out. 10/10 would recommend. Grab a book and go get a latte, y’all.

Some will dismiss this wonderful cafe out of hand given that it’s Vegan, but if you enjoy simple food made well, The Fox & Fig is worth your attention. No one is saying you can’t go back to your regular diet again. And you’ll find that their espresso and coffees are well prepared and their breakfast items are great. In fact, their whole menu is a triumph. I’m particularly fond of their Avocado Toast which, with its pickled onions, is fantastic. This place has a great location, good service, and a pleasant vibe. Give yourself a pass and get over the lack of meats, dairy milk or eggs and check it out. You’ll discover that Vegan often delivers more flavor and satisfaction than you expect.

I have been eating at Fox and Fig everytime I pass Savannah, GA for years. I have re-routed trips to go out of my way to eat here. I went today and the place looks great. It is natural light and plants. My favorite aesthetic. The coffee cups and saucers are adorable 😍. The view out the window is historic Savannah. The drop coffee is delicious as it always has been. The food is so well crafted. I got the Breakfast Sammie. The hollandaise sauce was creamy, cheesy, smokey, and a little spicy. The heirloom tomatoes, arugula and carrot bacon elevated the breakfast sandwich. My husband got the banana bread french toast with roasted walnuts. 😋. This place is a dream and it just keeps getting better.

Best avocado toast I have ever had! I am not vegan but my Husband and Daughter are. I was pleasantly surprised that the chocolate chip cookie tasted like it was made with real butter. Everything we had was delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant even if you are not vegan and just want a healthier option.

If you were looking for a cute, cozy café, with amazing third and vegan pastries in Savannah, look no further. This place has the perfect casual french fries that make you feel right at home. While I personally prefer a bit more structure in terms of seating, arrangements to see yourself, set up, adds to the laid-back charm of the place. Overall Fox and Fig is a must visit spot for anyone looking for a delicious and relaxing café experience in Savannah.

All outdoor dining, due to COVID, I'm sure. Limited seating but worth the wait if you decide to wait. You can grab the food to go and enjoy it on a bench at a nearby park as well! Our food and smoothie were delicious!
