We came here for breakfast. The wait was long for a table outside, over 25 mins. It was a super hot day soon the wait wasn't pleasant and I guess sitting outside wasn't pleasant either because of the heat!
Unfortunately they don't take reservations for brunch and don't have an online wait-list so unless you go super early, be prepared for a wait!
I got the short rib hash which after seasoning with salt and pepper was excellent!!! Love the mustard seeds in the slaw! The beef was great and the tomato sauce was flavorful!
Hubby got the bananas foster french toast which was delicious. I've been craving GOOD french toast for a while and this fulfilled that craving perfectly!
I also got a glass of lemonade which was perfect for the heat and not too sweet!
Hubby got the lavender mocha which he liked. I was too hot to try it!

Delicious breakfast in a lovely atmosphere. I had the berry french toast and my husband had the Forsyth breakfast. The best food we’ve had thus far in Savannah.

Reminded us of Central Park's Tavern on the Green. Unique, mostly all outdoor seating located in a very large historic park. Great brunches and walk up bar. The food was quite good. Quite a bit of seating, but reservations may be needed. We'll come back!

Not sure I understand why this place is so busy, but perhaps the kitchen had an off day (I honestly doubt that, though). The patio seating overlooks Forsyth park, which is a plus, although we dined inside bc we didn't want to wait for outside seating. If u dine inside, it is VERY loud, be forewarned. If u want a meal where u can actually hear another person talking, this isn't the best option.
I ordered the chicken & waffles. The chicken was cooked well, but lacked flavor. The batter was thin for my liking, but had a nice dark color (too bad that didn't translate in taste). The Belgian waffle was a huge disappointment. It was dry, dense, and had crunchy sugar on top, which I'm not convinced is necessary or contributes anything other than texture. On the plus side, the Buffalo maple syrup is very tasty & basically saved the dish bc it is addicting.
The menu is small, which is a bonus, but the execution is lacking, a lot... Typically, when a restaurant has a limited menu, all the choices are well executed. From our experience today, that doesn't seem to be the case here. My hubby had the fish & chips and it was mediocre, at best. This isn't the place if u want authentic fish & chips. The fries were nothing special & barely seasoned. The batter on the fish wasn't crispy & the fish itself was very thin.
Overall, this was disappointing & I regret missing something better to eat on my list here in Savannah. We will not retun.

A beautiful, clean and delicious place to have some brunch and coffee before exploring the gorgeous park. Staff is wonderful. Food is spectacular and the coffee… the coffee is the best part. Definitely stop in here.

Not only THE best brunch spot in Savannah, but the best chicken and waffles I've ever had. This is the culinary magnum opus of this restaurant. To improve the already perfect dish, our server Marvin recommended swapping out the buffalo honey sauce (sounds odd but pairs so wonderfully) for a honey jalapeño that absolutely rocked. The waffles are sugar crusted and the thick, crunchy skin on the chicken couldn't be a more perfect pair. I went two days in a row for brunch and would've went a third if my wife wasn't insisting we try other brunch places. Even at peak brunch time on Sunday, we waited about 25 minutes to get to the host stand and then were promptly sat. This place rocks and Marvin gave the recommendation to make a perfect dish somehow a notch above.

If you’re in Savannah I highly recommended this place for a breakfast and lunch! We came here twice! Food looked VERY presentable and tasted EVEN BETTER!!! I am a lover of coffee and the rose latte was hands down best latte ever! I even got one to go!! We will come back here when in savannah! 10/10!

Great place for brunch! We came here with our dog and they were very accommodating. Menu at this location is slightly different from the other location, but just as good!

Collins Quarter is a Savannah staple for brunch! Although Forsyth is not the original location, it's just as good.

Food: our table went 4/4 on our orders, everyone really enjoyed their meal. We had avocado toast, museli, chicken and waffles, egg sandwich, and mushies on toast. Nobody has a bad thing to say about the food. They also have a good drink list with a variety of specialty coffees and teas, plus a bunch of mixed, hard drinks.

Service: our waiter was great. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and really described the items in great detail. Speed of the service was good too.

Ambiance: there are plenty of heaters if you opt to sit outside. The inside looked nice too, modern styling.

COVID: staff are wearing masks and ask that you do the same if you go indoors. Tables are a little close together in the outdoor area, but fortunately you are outside.

My only knock on the place is they do not allow take out orders. We tried to pick it up for dinner and were denied, even on a night when they were empty.

Collins Quarter @ Forsyth Park came highly recommended to me & will be highly recommended to anyone & everyone I discuss Savannah with in the future. I will say I missed out on it during my first visit to Savannah in early September bc we didn't see that the prompt to use OpenTable for reservations was actually voided by a line further down, saying they don't even take reservations. Every time slot was showing 'no available spots' so we mistakenly assumed that meant we had to miss out. After having noticed that the website points out no reservations are taken on 2nd visit 6 weeks later, I'm bummed we misunderstood that all we needed to do was show up & I could have enjoyed the mimosas & food twice instead of just once, so far. Our waitress was so very sweet & pleasant, service was fast, the view & location in the park is the cherry on top (for anyone choosing to sit outside), & the food...oh my word...was it ever divine!! Go. Don't even hesitate to think about if you should. Just go!
