Sweetwater Coffee House

SO GOOD! Stopped in while waiting on my husband and daughter to finish ziplining, and I definitely was not disappointed. I got the Mom’s Chai, and it was so refreshing. Couldn’t help but order a scone, too- and so glad I did. The drink was great, but the people were even better. Stop in here- you’ll be glad you did!

Be ready for a big surprise. This quaint little coffee shop offers a brief menu, yet big city quality products list. The outdoor seating featires a shaded tree comfort zone.

What an adorable gem in the mountains!! You have to stop in while visiting the Helen/Sautee Nacoochee area. Coffee was great and so were the extra friendly staff! You ladies are wonderful. Can't wait to stop by again on my next trip.

Yummy and much needed quiche, yummy cappuccino, machiato, and ga mtn honey was delicous!! Bagels are also delicious with strawberry jam 😋. Overall amazing and loved the eco friendly and compostable cups boxes and dining ware they were a great touch!! Awesome job you guys!

Good coffee. I tried the light roast. Was hot and very fresh. Also tried the quiche it was absolutely amazing!!! Was told the chef studied at Le Cordon Bleu and honestly i usually would not believe it but let me tell you, after tasting that food! I believe it. It was amazing. I wish i took photos of it to post it was beautiful and tasted amazing!. Dont believe me? Try it for yourself.

Great little place to slow down and enjoy the coffee. Outdoor seating under big shady tree's. Strawberry scones are delicious and the cheddar biscuits are to!

Yum! Their breakfast food and coffee were top notch! The staff was awesome! The environment was quaint and pleasant. We always visit this place when we're in Helen.

Far and away the best coffee I've had from any independent or chain coffee house. In addition, they make incredible smoothies - both healthy and tasty. Finally, they are just GREAT PEOPLE. I will literally drive up from Atlanta in the future to visit.

We don’t live in the area - but every time we drive up from Orlando we alway stop each morning for a latte and their Ice Tea “ w/ extra ice”. The servers are exceptionally nice and very pleasant to talk with. We highly recommend for anyone staying and/or passing through the area.

We were staying in Helen and drove out to see a covered bridge. When we passed this place and saw "espresso", our car came to a screeching halt.

First, the place is SO cute - a house that's a coffee shop! There's plenty of free parking. We went inside and the inside was just as cute (there's plenty of tables inside and nice outdoor seating). The woman inside (owner?) was unbelievably nice - like she had been your friend for your entire life. My friend got an espresso and a wonderful muffin. I LOVED it that the cups were eco-friendly and the place is organic (very Earth-friendly place - I appreciate that). I wasn't getting a coffee because I had already had coffee (I'm a 1-cuper). The lady suggested "decaf" and I think I replied that decaf was similar to "swill". Well, she said - please try mine. She explained how it was decaffeinated and said to trust her. I did trust her and got a cup of decaf. It was AMAZING!! Really, so delicious. We came away with such a lovely impression of this amazing place. We were only in town 2 days, but the next morning we went back and my friend got another espresso.

They also serve muffins and food, and I wish I had been there long enough to try something else. I love supporting small, independent businesses! This was a charming place - find it and go there for a great cup of coffee and super-friendly service!
