New to the area and this place was highly recommended...the young lady server was delightful, the food however was disappointing. Ordered the Angus burger & sweet potato chips...bun was old and stale and the chips were rubbery, obviously very stale. Mellow mushroom seemed like a better alternative (right next door) 🙄

Very slow on drinks served under table and it was only sweet tea and water. Food was decent. Will definitely try it again however first experience was just okay.

Had lunch at this lovely restaurant inside a beautiful old building in downtown Rome, GA. The food was excellent and the servers were very nice and took good care of us. I recommend a visit if you find yourself in the vicinity.

Well for starters if your not gonna except on line reservations don’t offer it ?? We made reservations for 2 for 5:45 got there five minutes before our table was supposed to be ready and was told that was fine but, we had many ppl ahead of us ?? Then finally got seated by 6 .. waitress super nice but , disappears and can’t hardly get refills? Then ask if we need anything when we’re done.We got to go drinks and ended up waiting 15 minutes longer then no check , we had plans for another outing and ended up waiting 30 min to finally get our check. Ridiculous. The food was amazing and the cook knows how to do his job. Maybe he can train hostess and waitress?
We definitely want return and if you still go don’t have plans for anything but dinner cause you’ll be there for a while .

Visiting my parents in Rome, this restaurant came highly recommended! When we were seated, the table tops were made of copper so the smell of copper was so overwhelming we had to move. It was like I had 2 pennies shoved up my nose. Our food was unfortunately not good at all. I ordered a burger and I am no chef but I could tell it was a store bought frozen patty. My father's food was cold when it arrived at the table and my mother stated her sandwich had a gritty texture, almost like sand. My husband and I also ordered old fashions but they did not have all the ingredients on hand so when we received them, it was basically watered down whiskey. And to top it all off, the bathrooms were extremely dirty. Was a really disappointing visit and I know we won't be back, and my parents who live in Rome will also not be returning.

We had been here before, the food has always been good. But the last time we went for my birthday it exceed expectations We visit quite a few restaurants, and this was one of the best experiences we have had. Sam was the best. He knew was my birthday so he made sure everything was extraordinary. The food was extremely delicious, best salmon ever!! Ribeye super, best margaritas ever, desert very good. I want to take my daughter for her birthday. Best place in Rome!!! <3

Salmon BLT and cheese grits. Most excellent! Never saw such generosity with bacon--extra points for that. We'll definitely be back.

Hello. I hope this finds everyone well.
I went into this restaurant one day just looking for a nice lunch.
I am still searching.
My mashed potatoes were lumpy and cold and the collars were far too spicy. It was like they were trying to mix Southern style with something from Mars.
Give it a try if you want.
My waitress was great!!
