Cafe 136

The food was decent. Good meat and vegetable options. Decent prices. Will allow the adult 9.95 plate to be a kids plate for half price. We appreciated that too.
Food was acceptable.

Perhaps they also lost their cook in addition to most of their wait staff. We stopped for breakfast this morning as we didn't have time to cook at our campsite at Cloudland Canyon. How could anyone not be able do to breakfast? They found a way. I recommend you avoid at all costs the inappropriately named "sawmill" gravy, the watery grits and the godawful mealy sausage patties. Surprisingly, the biscuits were good, as were the eggs and bacon. I don't know why they were packed for supper, even with all you care to eat fried catfish, and do not intend to go back to find out.

Great food good prices. Very friendly staff. Nice that they use real dishes and not throw away items like so many restraints are doing at this time. They make you feel like family

We went in after the Sunday lunch crowd, so it was not the ideal time. Service was good and the food was good, but they had run out of almost everything and a lot of the items were cold. Again, I'm sure we picked the wrong time to go.

We had lunch today after church at Cafe 136 and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, the waitress (Willa) was great, and they were so very attentive! Thanks for a great dining experience! We will see you all again soon!

Food for most part is good. The service on the other hand is lacking. Been there two times and both times we waited well over hour after we ordered our food, not to mention the 15 min sitting there before we got our drinks.

Very upset, said they would be open at 7am, we got there at 9 and it was like a ghost town. Heard such good reviews and since we were coming back from cloudsland, we thought it would be good to try, especially after camping over the weekend.

Service was good. Burger was good. Priced a little high, but not many options up there. Friendly waitresses. Unfortunately, not exceptional in atmosphere or portions.

Nice place for a home cooked meal! Different side dish options- deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes. Had a lovely pond out back

Food is good but service is extremely slow. Only one other couple in the place and waited 15 minutes until I had to go find a waitress. This is the 3rd I have tried them and all 3 times service was bad. Not going back.
