Ate here last night. Chicken was still bloody, which I didn’t notice until taking a bite. Sent it back. They recooked the same chicken and it came back hard and tough. I ate it anyway since I was starving. (Our range is broke at home). I was so sick all night and still sick today! Also ate here 2 weeks ago, food was good, price was good. 2 weeks later food not good, prices increased.

Ordered the country fried steak and it did not have any taste, gravy was also bland had to load the pintos with salt in order for them to have taste, okra tasted oily. Waitress was not the nicest when my husband went to pay she practically threw his change at him it seemed. Do not plan to go back.

The server was wonderful. The food was ok. The girl at the front register wasn't very nice and was complaining about the customers that were coming in and calling in right with us right there at check out. We had to brush off out table because there was some food on it. My wife was looking very hot and very patient with the situation which lead me to the rating as high as it was. You can blame it on covid-19 but attitude is everything.

Update 7/25/21:

Ordered breakfast over the phone. Arrived 15 min later, was greeted at the drive through, 25 min later i drove off. bought ingredients at the Dollar General and made my our own breakfast.

If you are ever close to Cloudland Canyon State Park, stop in for a great meal. We had lunch there today and it was great! The place was very clean and the meatloaf was exceptional. Our waitress, Willa, was very friendly and informative. She directed us toward a wonderful piece of pie!

Excellent greens, great fried green tomatoes, good price.
Would love to see a veggie plate to get the greens, fried green tomatoes, pintos & Mac & cheese!
Haven’t had greens like those since my great aunt fixed them for family reunions.

Best fried chicken livers and vegetables I have ever eaten! Home cooking at its best! Wow!

I have attempted to eat at this restaurant 3 times. Always like to support small businesses. Each time has been worse. Arrived at restaurant at 2:00 pm with 3/4 cars in parking lot.. went in restaurant and stood at door for 10 minutes before waitress said choose a seat. Chose a seat.. waited another 10 minutes.. watched waitresses clean tables, but never came over to our table. We finally have to get up and ask why no one came over to our table.. waitress said they didn’t see us. Very limited menu, food is average, WORST service. Will never recommend and will never return.

Our group ordered a variety of foods from the menu and all was delicious. The cook, Christy, was most gracious and came out to speak to our table. A good dining experience!
