Great breakfast menu. Excellent food. Fast, attentive service. Definitely a place worth repeating.

The food good as always , small portion of corn beef hash disappointing for price, the problem today was , although I get being ok with ones body and it being a college town yet the waitstaff had one server that should have been told to put on clothing suitable for public, literally looked like big girl wore her panties to work. Was nasty and thats being nice.

Their website says open until 3 pm. Google maps says open until 3 pm. The sign on their door says open until 3 pm. We arrived at 2:30 pm and went inside. They told us they were closed. Lazy employees trying to cut out early. Too bad.
Update: very suspect response from the restaurant below. From 2 pm on there were no customers in the restaurant. We had passed by earlier while shopping. So they were not really busy and therefore out of staple menu items. Even so, are they so poor with their inventory and food preparation that they couldn’t serve patrons any of the dozens of other things on their menu? This is a very poor excuse for a bad decision they made on this particular day. It tells me all I need to know about their commitment to customers.

Today I tried eggs Benedict for the first time in 20+ yrs. I never liked hollandaise sauce anywhere I've tried it, that is until today! Awesome guys!! This will become my new go to breakfast here. As always, the wait staff were perfect too.

classic breakfast diner; got chocolate chip pancakes, sausage and eggs—it was adequate but not sensational. $1 mimosas on Monday, that was fun!

We eat here only once a year (we take my daughter to breakfast every year on the Saturday after school lets out), and it never disappoints! The Beauregard is my favorite, (try it with bacon instead of sausage) and the breakfast potatoes are perfectly seasoned!

A little pricey on some items, but well worth it. Absolutely delicious and made with quality ingredients. Come for brunch. Check out the surrounding main street area too.

I’ve been planning on trying this place for a while. I finally stopped by today. I had high hopes, and left unimpressed. The server was nice enough, but the ham in my omelette was burnt. It was literally black on one side of every piece of chopped ham and my biscuit wasn’t warm at all. I don’t like sending food back so I just ate what I could. I might give it another try….. It won’t be anytime soon though.

Awesome local place. High on the list of places to try locally owned and wonderful food.

I go to "The Local Yolkal Cafe" every weekend. The layout is very quaint. The staff is very diverse and treat everyone like family. The food is the best and the price is perfect. Yes sometimes you may have to wait to get in, but that should tell you something. You will have the best service and food.
