Alchemist Trading Co.

I recently moved to the area and came across Alchemist Trading Co. on a google search for local coffee shops. I was intrigued by the name since my gram handle entails "the alchemist" chosen after the best-seller book. I read reviews online before I went and was even more interested in trying this place out after seeing a lavender latte option. I have had a lavender latte in only two other local coffee shops in Texas where I am from so I was super excited. The interior blew me away with the dim lighting and beautiful geode counter and wall decor. Definitely reminiscent of alchemy. The barista, who was very sweet and helpful, informed me that the owner had done it himself. Very impressive and creative! Anyways, she provided really good information on how the coffee is extracted via dutch process etc. since I asked her a zillion questions. The lavender latte with oat milk was AMAZING! The prices are a little steep but it maybe due to the processing of the coffee and obviously the import fees and such not to mention everything is made in house. This is my new favorite coffee shop and I can't wait to bring other friends and family here. I love supporting local businesses.

Amazing ambience and service. Snacks are very well prepared with very fresh ingredients.

Really cool place with awesome interior and so much variety for coffee and really loved hojicha d latte iced...also tried blackberry flavour black coffee really nice

Saw the great reviews and thought I’d give this cafe a try. First off, don’t fall for the pictures, the food is falsely advertised. It is not updated that everything be it dine in or take out is wrapped to go. Tea and coffee was in a to go cup and cold seconds after coming out. You are not served, you place your order and pick up your food. I was excited for the avocado toast, which personally tasted very unpleasant. As did the chicken wrap and egg bacon sandwich. Customer service was really bad. Maybe I got the wrong idea but overall a very disappointing experience.

Amazing coffee shop with friendly staff, great interior and the most unique coffee you'll have: the Dutch Cold Brew.
I'd go here more often if it wasn't a 30 minute drive away. Still go here twice a year for sure!

Ive lived in the area for a long while and only just discovered this place about a year ago. Love it. Its quickly become, hands down, my favorite coffee in the area. They don't open till 9AM though which is pretty late IMO.

I'd give it five stars but everything is now served in paper cups. The quality is amazing but getting a paper cup to sit in a cafe is a let down. Especially when your matcha affogato is melted because they've already poured over the top before you get it.

Such a great spot and coffee. Loved the creative drinks.
