Izola's Country Cafe

Was stoked to go here! Tiktok brought me. We were visiting family in Georgia and I had to come here! Totally quirky and cool New Orleans decor. Everyone was friendly and the food was good! Those caramel glazed Yams were everything! We will be back with the rest of the fam!

One of my favorite restaurants in Hinesville. Good, home cooked southern food with a Mardi Gras vibe.

Of course, like many others, Tik Tok brought me here - and I'm so glad it did. My sister and I are in town for a week and I told her this stop was the top of my list. First impression walking in - WOW!I love the atmosphere , it felt so comforting and the NOLA theme was of course great. Starting off ordering, unsure of how do go about it, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The chicken quarters(9/10) chicken & rice (9/10), collards(8/10), Mac n cheese(9/10), SWEET POTATO CORNBREAD (WHAT , MY #1 FAV) (20/10), the shrimp creole (oh my god I wanted to take a whole to-go box of it) (15/10) - okay basically everything on the menu was definitely worth the trip and the price wasn't bad AT ALL especially for the quality and quantity. May have to make a lil pit stop on the way back home to AL. Thank you Izola's!!!!

We drive 4.5 hours from Atlanta after following their tiktok for just around a year. it did not disappoint! Food was amazing, just like great home cooking, we will be planning another day trip to get some food and travel to the beach.

Amazing southern food. Enjoyed hearing how the recipes got their start, you can definitely tell the owner takes pride in what he does. All of the employees are upbeat and friendly. And that key lime cake is the dessert of all desserts. We stayed in Savannah for vacation, ate at many different restaurants. And this place is where you want to go for southern country cooking. It's worth the drive.

This is my opinion and all I’m going to say that Tictok made me and my daughter in law drive 3hours and 50 something minutes to try the food. And we both were highly disappointed. We paid for the all you can eat buffet. We arrived at 4:00pm and was gone by 4:35pm. The ribs was tuff, ( my daughter in law ) said the bones was more softer than the meat. The Macaroni and cheese tasted like the frozen stouffer‘s macaroni and cheese. My daughter in law said you added shredded cheese on top to try enhance the taste. Basically she saying don’t scoop that Mac. And the lemonade will give you stage 15 diabetes. It was worse than McDonald’s tea. Lastly, the flies liked the food better than we did because the kept landing on my food after I pushed the plates away. #DON’T SCOOP THAT MAC!!!

Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and Mac were on point today!! Very good.

I drove three and a half hours to visit this place because of TikTok but it was well worth it. They've mastered their marketing and it seems to be working for them.

The food was hot, fresh and tasty. The staff serves you from behind the buffet which has a glass divider between the guest(s) and staff. I appreciated this and the friendly staff serving.

The dining room is clean, well organized and decorated tastefully. There is a photo worthy mural inside. I did not take my photo with it or of it so I guess I will have to return but don't miss when you're visiting.

The prices seemed reasonable and I would definitely return based on my experience.

An awesome spot deserving of all the praise. Great home cooking with lots of options and very reasonable prices - on July 1st, 2021 it was $12.49 for the buffet, includes drink. $6.99 for the small plate (1 meat and two sides). $9.99 for large plate (2 meats and two sides). Drinks include sweet tea, peach tea and unsweetened also raspberry or regular lemonade. Didn’t have room for any of the cakes but they also looked amazing. Highly recommend.

Extremely disappointed that they no longer serve breakfast. The lunch buffet is way over priced and the tok tok video is not an accurate reflection of the lunch buffet. Ole times is much less expensive and desert is included!
