Izola's Country Cafe

Talk about wow. Really great food, incredible desserts, fair pricing and the people omg the people made it all worth the hour and a half drive. Really wish this place was open on the weekend, but we finally got a day off. It was the perfect little family day, and I super grateful we got to expirence this place.

Me and my husband loved the food and our waitress was super nice and friendly ❤️ definitely will be going back!

For it to be buffet, you could tell the food was sitting for a while. Chicken was tough, rice was mushy. The only thing good was the drink.

The staff and the owner were so welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious! The dessert is worth the cost, buy the cake. All of the cakes.

This soul food buffet was awesome.

We tried the breakfast buffet. We were happy to see a good variety of choices. Lots of meats, grits, potatoes, corned beef hash, biscuits, and more. We'll be back.

Amazing place. Definitely a must see/do when in the area. Southern cooking at its finest.

I don’t think I’ve ever had better customer service! Jay and the owner Glen are some of the most genuine, kind people that I had the pleasure of meeting! The cooks, waitress, and cashier are super sweet and took great care of me and my husband.

Typically when I think of country buffets I think of unflavored, soggy excuses of fried chicken that was grabbed by a bunch of people. The food was very well flavored and absolutely delicious. I would eat there everyday if I wouldn’t gain weight. The food is served hygienically and efficiently. Even if there is a long time, it’s practically a guarantee that you’ll be paying within 5 minutes.

The prices are also great! For a $10 plate at lunch I know I will still be stuffed at dinner time. The sweet tea that also came with the plate was perfectly sweetened and strong.

The overall environment was warm and inviting and the perfect family spot. The decor would make the French Quarter jealous.

I can’t find a single bad thing to say about this restaurant. I asked my husband who fancies himself as an amateur food/ restaurant critic and he has nothing but good to say.

The food was very good and well seasoned. Will go again.

Bad customer food service and the food is a hit or miss with a lot more of a miss. I am definitely not going back. 😝🤮
