We arrived just in time for Lunch. Their menu is small but their servings is generous and the food is superb! The cold cuts are commendable, as well as their sandwiches. And you must try the soups. Save space for dessert: their cakes and German pastries are something you should not miss

The bakery and the restaurant were both amazing. We were recommended to go twice on our trip, but we ended up going 3 times 😁
The Reuben from the restaurant and the blueberry cheese Danish and strawberry cheese Danish from the bakery were all amazing!

Really good and a ton of different items for everyone. The Apple Fritter was really good, the Bavarian cream filled donut was the best. The pretzel bite was good too. The chocolate covered Cannoli was better than the original cannoli. Went at 4:30 on a Friday and still had a ton of items, it may vary by the day.

Had a great breakfast here, our first time to visit and so glad we did! My wife got the Mountain Climber(ham and eggs), I got the Bacon and Onion Hash topped with a couple of over easy eggs and we split an order of the German Potato Pancakes that came with a side of homemade apple sauce, all delicious! Barbara waited on us and was very attentive and kept our delicious coffee topped off throughout the meal. Do yourself a favor and stop in!

Food was pretty good. We have had better at a local bakery and other vacation spots (cannolis and danishes). The staff seemed busy even though the crowd was low on a mid-Tuesday. There were no gluten or dairy free options, which made it difficult for my special needs child to understand. Overall an okay place to stop for a treat if you do not have any allergies.

Super quaint little bakery. It’s was cute! Items for purchase look really good! Got several different desserts that they were known for. They were mediocre, not amazing.

Desserts were 3 of 5 stars.
Pretzel 5 out of 5 stars.
Bought a loaf of rye bread 5 out of 5 stars.

What a great experience. We accidentally made it just before lunch seating. Line was to the door. People we seated in a a staggered fashion to allow the kitchen and servers to not be overwhelmed.
Lots of great choices on the menu and the service was super friendly.
Three people at the table ordered the Spätzle Soup and I had the Hungarian Goulash. We added German Pancakes to share. Came out piping hot and all dishes were delicious. Add the fresh rolls and bread and it was a wonderful meal.

We also picked up some desserts for later on the way out. Each individual dessert was fresh and super tasty. Black Forest Cheesecake and Puff Pastry were standouts.

What an awesome place!! Best meal we had all weekend! The service was great, very friendly. I had the corned beef hash plate. It was delicious!! My husband enjoyed the farmer's omelet. We shared the fried apples. What a dish!! TASTY!!! I hope to get to visit again. Highly recommend Hofer's

I have to say out of all the places we ate at, this was the most disappointing place. At first when you go in, the supermarket has authentic imported German goods and the pastry looked amazing, soooo immediately we set the bar pretty high saying we understood why it’s always crowded here. THEN we ordered. My husband’s hazelnut cake had no hazelnut anything in it, my cupcake that was suppose to have cream on the inside had just enough cream to where you couldn’t say it didn’t have cream but you only got a dab, enough to make you wish it was more so you could taste it. Normally in the US we would not have really high expectations but having eaten at 2-3 restaurants that had really done a fabulous job with their German food, we expected more here. They also did not have real cream for coffee, which again was a big deal as the other places did. We paid $18 for a piece of cake, a muffin and two coffees in a paper cup, which to us was not worth it.

Overall not really good experience. I really didn't got chance to try there food but yes, we were late for breakfast, and the lady told us they will start lunch at 12.00, she was rude, then we went to front counter to try some cake had 1 slice of cake, but was ok, not Wow but ok, was also very expensive. than we went to some other place for breakfast, I don't know we will go next time.
