After stopping at the Blue and Gray Museum and doing the self guided driving tour we stopped here for lunch. Great soup and sandwich shop. Someone in town recommended when we asked about a place without fried food. Hubby had the goulash soup and small sauerkraut casserole. I had the roasted red pepper, chicken, avocado sandwich with broccoli salad, everything was delicious and we sat outside on the covered porch. Perfect lunch. Wish this place was near my home.

I tried the turkey avocado blt and it was AMAZING. And i had half left over that I'll have for another meal! I also got a jelly cookie and baklava and the desserts knock it out of the water πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» i also appreciated little details that showed the owner cares about the environment like you get 50 cent off if you bring your own cup, and they have aluminum foil for leftovers instead of Styrofoam plates. Definitely will have to make the trip to come back! Super cute and quaint decor and everything too!

I wish I could give you more than 5 stars. The food, atmosphere and service was phenomenal. There's so many options to choose from. Everything just looks so darn good.

My wife and I had lunch here for the first time. It was recommended by a local business. Our sandwiches, soup, German potato salad, and cake were all very good. Very clean and country setting. Eating outside is available. The owners are friendly, kind people. This is a great place to eat a simple delicious meal with lots of variety. Do not miss going there.

This may be my second review and I have no pictures but TRUST me, this place is definitely delicious. The atmosphere is warm, cozy and inviting. The sisters Sylvi and Zsuzsanna are so hospitable and outstandingly nice to customers and treat you with the utmost respect. You walk in and are greeted immediately. The menu is carefully placed with pictures so menu items are easy to see and identify. So many choices! Salad bars, coffees, sandwiches, desserts, sometimes specials too. My favorites are the homemade biscuits and the creamy soups. They are always coming up with new menu sandwich and dessert items. Try the coffee too with many choices.
Stop by and enjoy a real treat. I love this place and I know you will too!!

Specialty sandwiches and cuisine deserts are served here. Definitely a must if hungry and going through Fitzgerald. Big portions and friendly faces fill this quaint building. Try the Hungarian for something different and delicious!

Authetic Hungarian flavored food, soup sandwiches, pastries and gellato/ ice cream in middle of south GA. Sweet kind staff. In a converted house that is warm and inviting in summer or winter.

I love this cafe! Best coffee and dessert in town! Workers are extremely friendly, service is fast and food is high quality! Tons of dessert options, sandwiches & soups, gelato and the best coffee. Definitely recommend coming here, it’s a gem in Fitzgerald.

Today, I've decided to try something new at Cafe Budapest. I've tried the Roasted Pepper Avocado Chicken Melt and the Raspberry Iced Coffee with almond milk. I've had their other delicious items before including their potato soup and their Hungarian Gulyas Soup. The owner of Cafe Budapest was super sweet and I've told her how delicious the sandwich is. The staff are also very nice and friendly. This place is an absolute gem if you're looking for comfort food that is made with love.
