The set up here is like a old Morrison and alot of old folks..first time there and last time they don't have signs or they don't help you or tell how things work there it needs to say on there sign Cafe style food not buffet

Food off the chain Good. Atmosphere. Small and busy. Service well a lot of employees not much one on one.

We just spotted this place on the way to Cherokee. I’m so glad we stopped to eat. The fried chicken was delicious! They have a great choice of veggies too. The waitress was very friendly.

Everything is home cooked. Definitely worth the drive!

Big portions of country cooking. Pretty damn good too. Just like Mama used to make. Service is nice, sweet and Southern. Eight bucks for a meat and two vegetables. For the price, you just can't beat it. Cafeteria style.

Great food family owned and operated, awesome service. We visit quite often. Best fried chicken and strawberry cobbler in town.

This place is home cooking at it's finest!!! The fried chicken was sooo moist, even better than my mom's.(sorry mom, ❤) Broccoli casserole, green beans, fried squash, baked beans, mashed potatoes and so much more...They serve you, but the portions are huge. We both ate for $20 plus sweet teas and a piece of cheese cake to go. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend this restaurant!!!

Best fried chicken I have ever had. I come to Clayton often and have been here several months. I brought my husband here 2 months ago and every time I talk to him he asks about my visits to Henry's. He can't stop talking about the fried chicken. Wait staff is fantastic and very attentive. They always make me feel at home like I am eating with family. It doesn't look like much on the outside but my inside is so happy when I eat there.

Stopped in by chance, turns out my grandma Jo Ann and the original owner Allene are cousins. Small world. Food was great and staff very friendly.
