Rum Cake Lady Cuban Food Downtown Blue Ridge

Nice surprise to see Cuban food in the area. Food was OK. Sorry, it's hard not to compare with Miami Cuban food. We ordered the Tampa with colada and empanadas. Sandwich was decent, colada was not good (ours was mucky), empanada was delicious but overpriced at $4 a piece. We also ordered a limoncello rum cake. If you like your cake soaked in sugary syrup, this is for you. But for us, we didn't enjoy it. Not sure if we would try them again.

This place is fantastic, we come to the area every spring and this place has blown us away. We will return here every time we are in the area. Do yourself a favor and just head there now.

Excellent Cuban sandwiches and the flourless chocolate torte was on point. Wasn't wowed by the lemoncello rum cake but it's a best seller so try it out! Very nice people.

We finally got the chance to stop in at the Rum Cake Lady Cuban Restaurant in Blue Ridge and we were not disappointed. The ambiance is basic minimal outdoor seating … but the food was so delicious that we didn’t even mind!!! The Cuban sandwich we ordered was authentic in every way. We also picked up the Lemoncello Rum Cake which is very moist and tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You need to experience this gem.

Great Cuban food and, of course, rum cake. This is a small outdoor eatery with big flavor. If you have a hunger for Cuban food, come here. You will not regret it.

Found quite by chance. Popped up on "maps". 1st visit. Good fast service even tho busy. Good espresso, cuban sandwiches & bought a few small Rum cakes to bring home...which were very good as well.

This place is amazing! The Blue Ridge area can be rough for finding delicious vegetarian food, and there is a plantain based veg cubano sandwich here that my fiancé loved and talked about for days. The regular cubano was also delicious, as was everything else we got. Definitely grab a rum cake (or several) too for dessert and for later. We actually loved this place so much the first time on the way up into the mountains that we changed our driving route on the way home to stop here again!

A Cuban spot in Blue Ridge?!? Yes, and it’s delicious. The ladies working behind the register were so sweet! I felt like I was chatting with old friends. I love that they offer gluten free options. Three of us had Cuban sandwiches, one steak, and one bowl. Everything was great. Order at least 1 of each sauce on the side. They all compliment the sandwiches. The regular fries and yuca fries were hot and fresh. The plantains were amazing.
They have plenty of covered seating in the back. We truly enjoyed this dining experience and having a taste of Cuba in North Georgia. This place is a gem.

Best place ever. You don't really taste the rum. Salted caramel/chocolate is our favorite.

My cuban and wifes turkey cuban were good. I DO NOT recommend the $4. (way too much for one) pork tamale which had no pork in it, just masa. Not a do over.
