Rum Cake Lady Cuban Food Downtown Blue Ridge

We loved our experience at Rum Cake Lady! Delicious rum cakes, authentic cuban sandwiches and friendly service! We can’t wait to go back!

We eat here every time we are in town. The food isn't fancy, but very good. The rum cake gets better the longer it sits. The limoncello version is also great. The pork in the pork bowl is so flavorful and slow-cooked. The potato balls, empanadas, ham croquettes are deep fried tastiness. The green sauce is delicious on everything, but the pink sauce goes perfectly with the potato balls. Unique, almost fast food place.

The manager on duty needs to lighten up. Greet people entering with a welcoming attitude. Hispanic (cubans) we are energetic enthusiasts and loud. She seemed bothered by that 😕

I couldn't believe I will find this place in Blue Ridge, GA, and I did. The sisters are the sweetest people you ever meet so welcoming. I had to have my Cuban coffee, we ate breakfast and dinner, and was better than Cuban places I have been in FL and the rum cakes are ridiculously good and moist.

If you pay by credit card there is a fee that you need to pay. So better to pay cash.
They have a high chair but no changing station, hence the rating…

The rum cakes here are incredible! So moist and delicious, not overly sweet but definitely sweet enough. I loved the pumpkin. We also brought home a chimichurri sauce and it was great too! Staff was friendly as well.

We had the Cuban steak sandwiches. They were definitely not worth $16 per sandwich. The steak was lukewarm at best and very chewy. The flavor was ok but I have had much better. The best thing about it was the bread. It was disappointing. In addition, it is a very small place and the tables outside, although nice to have, were not kept clean.

Holy cow! Incredible food, friendly service and super reasonable. The rice and bean bowl with pork melts in your mouth with an explosion of flavor. Guava and cheese pastry...omg!
Best place to eat within a 20 miles radius hands down. Welcoming and friendly staff, approachable menu, cute indoor and outdoor seating. We wish Rum Cake Lady was in Chattanooga! I would take photos of the food but it didn't last long enough, DELICIOUS.

From the train ride in blue ridge to mccaysville. We found the rum cake lady Cuban Cafe. One of the best restaurant stops of our trip. Food was incredible, we shared the Cuban sandwich and got some of their desserts too. Everything was great and freshly made. The sweetest lady ran the cash register. We ended up getting more desserts for the ride back. Lovely place.
