Cafetería "La Esquina Cubana" Double D Fast Foods

So the cook lady is so nice she is so polite and helpful and I had got the oxtail but her menu changes every day so I probably either call up there or go see for yourself to see what she has at 11:00 a.m. but otherwise it is really heavy but it will keep you full and it tastes really good I suggest getting the beans with anything because the beans are my absolute favorite, and I dislike beings with a passion 😅

Great food and fair pricing, the lady is very nice as well. Only downside is you have to wait quite a bit to get your food once ordered so it’s best to call it in.

I got some of everything the other day: oxtails, cabbage, rice, pork chops and empanadas. Everything was soooooo damn delicious. I'm gonna tell everyone I know about this gem hiding in a corner store.

So happy I found this place. Authentic Cuban food at a great price. If you are in the area, stop by. The owners are friendly. Don't forget to ask for some cuban coffee on the way out.

Let me tell you, I went up there Friday evening about 6:00, they were closing. Well we're closed I went in the lady said hey can I help you, I said yeah I was just trying to see when y'all were open. She's like we're open from 11:00 for lunch to 6:00 p.m. . We have all kinds of Cuban food items and the menu item for tomorrow will be oxtail. ALTHOUGH THE MENU IS DIFFERENT EVERY DAY.. BUT THEY ALWAYS HAVE BEEF PORK AND CHICKEN...

I was like what comes with the oxtail she said it came with sweet plantains , rice black beans. I also saw that there are pastries and empanadas. The next day I came back and this is what I ordered:

2 Oxtail plates $12
• Yellow Rice
• Sweet Plantains
• Beans on the side ( really good )

Ham and Cheese Empanada $1.50
Beef Empanada $1.50

Total with tax - $30.28

I'm honestly only giving it four because it was really really heavy, like there was Grease and fat, it was really good but I don't want to eat today LMAO 🤣.... It's definitely worth the try 💕.

Delicious authentic Cuban food. Service is excellent and the owners are very nice and welcoming. You must try their homemade flan and Cuban coffee! There is only one table so you may have to take your food to go.

The food is something you can talk good about. I have been here several times and have not yet come across a dish that I would not recommend to a friend. Nice to have something besides hamburger, taco, or fried chicken. Thank You.
