Very busy in the evenings with ice cream business. Lots of selections and toppings. Quite limited seating inside, so plan on licking fast as soon as you step out into the South Florida sunshine! Who could say a bad thing about an ice cream place, really? :-)

All the staff is friendly, they have the best selection of sandwiches, ice cream and deserts, I love sitting outside to eat, the location is great. After a day at the beach or shopping, this is a nice low key place to come and relax. At night you sometimes can hear the music from the restaurant nearby. Love this place.

Gelato wasn’t good, not impressed with the taste. Waffle cone tasted a bit stale as well. Perhaps since it isn’t the height of a season their freshness lacks due to less traffic. Most of our choices ended up in the garbage.

Wow! A place in Vero Beach/Sebastian that has vegetarian and vegan options, this alone was enough to make it amazing. The really outstanding part though was the taste, it is truly great food and this slightly unexpected but pleasantly surprised and appreciated. The coffee is also pretty good. I think that in the scheme of things, for a town like this (I was raised here and was just visiting), this is going to be one of the best option around for a vegan or vegetarian. :)

I cannot review the ice cream only because I've never had it there. But I can speak to the other parts of Cravings!
Cravings is, in some ways, vintage Vero. A small little ice cream shop that offers a good cup of coffee, very, very good pastries and desserts and some great sandwiches and subs for lunch (my wife and I love the chicken salad here).
I almost gave it a "3 star" review only because it's very difficult to get in and out of and, from time to time, the staff comes across as not very helpful. In my mind, those things - though not unimportant - do not interfere to terribly much with the experience.
All in all, if you are 'beachside' one weekend and out and about in the late morning or afternoon, this is a great place to stop in and get a refreshment.
In my opinion, they have the best almond croissant in the area.

I had a delicious croissant. Had a hard time choosing because everything looked tempting, especially the ice cream!

An ice cream/cookie/sweets shop one street back from the beach! Are you kidding me?! Who wouldn't want to stop here on a hot beach day and grab a cone. Or do what we did and eat dinner at the Wave and walk across the street for dessert. We sat outside afterward and listened to the live music coming out of grind and grape. Must stop here when in Vero.

My family and I always stop by cravings when we come to Vero on vacation. Tonight was no different; the ice cream was great. What WAS different was the very grumpy person behind the counter who seemed to be the only one in the shop who did not want to be there. The one time she smiled was when she laughingly told me that the candy my daughter ordered was “nasty.” Thank you very much, RBF lady.
