It's a coffee shop, but the drip coffee was ice cold and tastes like it had been out for hours. There was a homeless person in the place walking around to everyone asking for money. Not the experience I would expect. Thought I would give it a chance since it switched hands. Will just keep going to Blind Tiger.

I've had plenty of great experiences with this location, however it isn't always consistent. Depending on the barista, the drinks are a hit or miss, and same goes for customer service. I especially dread receiving help from the blonde girl, she always seems miserable and it shows with the way she interacts with customers, or more so doesn't. Plus, she could learn a thing or two about making drinks.
Edit: management's response is completely appalling, and for that reason alone, I changed my rating. That is some serious lack of accountability! Completely unprofessional for you to make excuses for your employees' inability to do their job. More importantly, a serious issue was dodged, your employees' inability to treat customers with respect. I will never support this business again!

Good atmosphere, but very slow service. Don’t go here if you want a coffee to go, you will wait forever. 20 minutes for single cup of coffee.

☕The newly opened Foundation Coffee Company in Ybor City is a MUST on your morning destination list! The decor is a good fit for the historic neighborhood and the smell of coffee brewing is so inviting. The exceptional bakery is made in house by an incredibly talented womyn pastry chef...PHENOMENAL!
I savored the Croissant Breakfast Sandwhich with my almond milk Chai Latte and further treated myself to a Cherry Danish (warmed in the oven)...absolutely delectable!
However, an area of much needed improvement would be the "lack luster, disengaged" counter servers. They are not very welcoming and extremely flat in their delivery--not very passionate about selling & serving their menu items. Additionally, it is unprofessional to have personal conversations behind the counter that guests can hear. Perhaps stools may help so they can be visible for incoming guests. As a chef, it is customary for me to be most generous in tipping; however, I was not moved to tip at all. Best of luck!☕

Great little coffee shop. Coffee is fantastic, and they have a nice outdoor spot to sit and relax. Highly recommended.

I have never felt so comfortable at a coffee shop. The environment at Foundation coffee is warm and inviting. The cashier was very considerate when it came to my diet as a vegan. I ordered a lavender latte with oat milk and it was so delicious. I also ordered the cuban bread and guava jam (with no butter). This coffee shop has indoor and outside seating so you're covered... rain or shine. Stop by if you're near downtown Tampa.

LOVE the multiple fountains and comfortable furniture inside and out. That on top of the delicious Nitro Ethiopian coffee I got made it a wonderful, relaxing visit.
I subtracted one star for poor parking and would have enjoyed a couple non-baked food options but the cafe itself was great and I'd definitely recommend it.
A great, off the beaten path, find!

Some of the best coffee around. Friendly, helpful staff.

It was a little chaotic inside the store. Nice sitting area inside and outside.
The food construction was happening both in the front and the back of the store. The coffee was quite bitter.
