Great food and friendly, chill vibe. Got the falasome and the rancheros (with a side of hummus and veggies).

First timer at Sweet Pea Cafe. The food was hearty, big-portioned, and full of flavor! I was impressed by all of the textures and colors in every dish - surpasses my expectations!

This business is set up like a counter sandwich shop, no table service. Vegan-yes- but I think of similar to Subway. Wait in line and order at the counter, then have a seat - with a number [just like McDonalds] and a person will bring out your order. When you are done ordering, before your food is made, the cashier turns the Ordering screen to you and you are asked to accept the order amount. You see a screen that offers you a BIG squares with a choice of 15%, 20%, or 22%, tip. I felt intimidated. What happens if I don't tip? I have not gotten any service. Are they going to spit in my food? Is the person bringing my food thinking "No tip huh! Here's a little stir from my unwashed finger".
Last night I selected 15%, a tip amount I would never offer at Subway or McDonalds, and sat outside at a damp, wooden, unfinished [ open grain wood], unsanitary, picnic table. After 13 minutes, a food preparer [in cjt off shorts and a dirty T-shirt] brought out my $13 [$16.08 w/tip] sandwich and french fries, placed them on the table and walked away. No smile. No words. No tableware. No condiments. Not even an acknowledgement that I was a human. I felt like a cow that had just been brought to the feed trough just before I was processed.
It is difficult enough to find vegan fare. This is Vegan with a Bad Attitude. What arrogance.

Sweet pea used to be one of my favorite restaurants but as of lately they’ve gotten so lazy. numerous times my order has been wrong, quality and presentation has been subpar. They have also been taking a very long time with my food. people who order after me and get the same thing will get their food before mine. they have had a history of being rude to their black customers. this is not the first time myself or my friends have noticed this either. in short, the food and service is good depending on the day and who is working.

We love Sweet Pea Cafe and have been going there regularly for a couple of years now. Best brunch in town on Sunday morning. My wife and I are not vegetarian but our daughter is. We go there without here! Do yourself and the planet a favor and try it!! Almost forgot….Don’t try the Cowboy Cookie unless they have some. Best cookie in town!

I seriously have nothing negative to say. Wonderful place and a highlight of Tallahassee. You will not regret it.

This place is amazing! We always stop by when we're in Tallahassee. Today I got myself and my family the rueben and the ceasar wrap, all of it was to die for!! They always have nice baked goods available too. Thanks so much for the awesome vegan food! It makes living in north florida more bearable haha
