Sweet Pea Cafe

I got super sick from this place and it’s just terrible overall. Been pescatarian for 7 years so this type of food is the norm and I’ve had amazing vegan cuisine. Passing through Tallahassee where the restaurant options seem SUPER lacking but definitely stay away from here. The menu is really limited and everything is pretty basic, just some variation of the same tofu. The one difference was a black bean burger which was mushy and super dry with no flavor. The green tea cookie did not have any green tea flavor at all. The rancheros were whatever, the falafel wrap bad as well. Drinks were mediocre, there was only one girl working who was doing drinks, serving, and taking orders so quite slow, and she wasn’t very nice. Crazy expensive for not good food at all- about $100 for 4 people. Not a nice environment at all- kind of dirty and crusty everywhere and the main seating is picnic tables in the sun. Besides the food poisoning, the rest was so bland and bad I would never go back. They also charge for a to go box and add tip without advertising either policy so smells like shady business practices. Bad execution all around.

Food and service were excellent! The place is adorable, and was a perfect stop for us during a long road trip. Wasn’t expecting a great vegan scene in Florida, but boy was I wrong!

Everything from the drinks to the baked goods are amazing. Even if you aren't a vegan it is a cute spot with food for anyone. in my picture is country fried seitan that reminded me of my country fried steak as a kid. Seriously out of this world how tasty the breading and gravy was on this specialty. In the background is the spicy BLT. Highly recommended as well as the tofuevos rancheros.

I decided to try this place out because I was visiting Tallahassee for the day. So glad I did, ordered the Spicy BLT with sweet potato fries and it was so delicious! I highly recommend giving this a place a try! Reasonable prices, nice atmosphere.

So yesterday after working decided to stop by the first time ever so many options but I decided on the falawesome which as you can see is packed to the brim with veggie goodies and packing packing. I didn't include the fries cause I was just that hungry and to finish it off had to get the Blondie chocolate chip bar everything was much needed and very filling. Definitely my possible go to price isn't bad

I LOVE this place. Not many vegan/vegetarian places around town. It's so cozy and the outdoor seating area is awesome. The Thaight Budget is my favorite!

Sweet Pea was my favorite when I lived in Tallahassee! Came back to visit after moving away two years ago and the food was just as delicious. Only gave 4 stars because the only seating options are outdoors and there were tons of flies and wasps circling the tables. But take-out is always an option as well :) Love the food here though and the employees are sweet!

It’s a quaint little place and the Ruben sandwich is a must try. To be sure, we will come back again.

We are traveling and found Sweet Pea cafe while on I-10; sounded perfect (hence two stars). Hours said open so we made the detour in Tally specifically for our lunch. However it is closed and Google says nothing about hours being affected by yesterday's holiday, and there is no obvious sign in door explaining an emergency closure...what a let down. Please update Google hours when you are closed, thanks!
Now I am hungry and we have to figure out where else to go.

Amazing vegetarian and vegan food. Funky take out spot that serves really really tasty food. Very happy we found it.
