Grassroots Kava House

Really enjoyed this place, especially the upstairs area and balcony. I got a green/yellow double kratom brew and was feeling amazing.

My favorite place in St. Pete for kava and kratom. Love all the local brands like Blind Tiger coffee, Mother Kombucha, Tidal Boar ginger beer, and local baked goods. Super fast Wi-Fi!!!

Great first timer Kava experience! Chill atmosphere and staff is very knowledgeable, courteous and enjoyable to listen to. She guided me in a very pleasant conversation about the history of Kava, the pace to drink it and what to expect after drinking it. Definitely coming back.

Established Kratom Tea and Kava Hangout with upscale finishes and modern flair. This 2 year old Kava “cafe” embraces all traditional values of a hangout spot catering for customers with laptops or folks just wanting to chill. As well a chic and tastefully decorated ground floor space the venue features a lofty and large upstairs hangout with couches, benches and a couple of tables on a balcony to enjoy the street view. Downstairs also had modern retractable windows (think of a garage opener) that allow in fresh air when the temperature is right and a few tables street-side. Service was friendly but seemed stretched and distracted. It might have not been the norm based on one visit.

One of the first places I visited when moving to St. Pete and remains one of my favorite. Great atmosphere, drink selection, and friendly/kind employees who are happy to educate you on their menu.

They have the sweetest employees! And make my coffee just right plus it's only $1 on Wednesdays (any size).

Greatest kratom on earth. Wonderful people including customers and staff. Ken is awesome Gravy is a gentleman and Pancake is a fun loving person. Go here go here go here! Also amazing atmosphere.

I started my kava journey here just about when they 1st opened and I got hooked immediately on the product, environment and vibe. I found my tribe here. The product is strong. The owners are friendly and approachable. Ive watched this place evolve. I cant wait to see what it has in store.

One of the best coffee and tea houses I've ever been to and the incorporation of Kratom and Kava makes it perfection. I had no idea what Kratom and Kava was before come to Grassroots and I'm glad I walked in. Every member of the staff was so welcoming and taught me the benefits of these offerings, and how they bring together people to form an inclusive and diverse community of people. I can honestly stay that by walking in to Grassroots my life always truly impacted in a positive way.

Upscale kava, cool vibes, unique drinks and organic flavors that change every once in awhile! (Kava mule is such a cool and refreshing drink, def recommend). A great place to come for business, or to just hang out by yourself or with friends. They have books, games, laptop stations, and a patio with a view of Central Ave.
