Black Crow Coffee Shop

I’m not gonna lie, it was really disappointing. I’m a bit of a coffee buff and the cappuccinos were flat out bad. Nice barista, but the espresso was really sour (meaning the grounds were under extracted). My wife and I actually felt bad but we left about 3/4 of it in the cups, we just couldn’t take the taste. It was truly awful. I hope I just had a bad cup but I was watching the worker make the coffee and it was consistent with the others that she was making, so I doubt the taste was any different.

Beyond that it really isn’t my scene. Small space, a lot of things everywhere, super strange artwork that I guess people might enjoy if you’re into cringy things that make you feel weird after looking at it. Furniture looked cool, but also old and kind of dirty looking.

When I go to new places, I probably try 3 or 4 roasters in the area. I’ve probably been to close to 30. Unfortunately google ratings tricked me this time. Black Crow is probably at the very bottom of my list.

Some people love Black Crow. I think there are better mom and pop places, but the atmosphere is cool. Not crazy about the food selection, but they have really yummy muffins. Their coffee is ok—there's no something about it I just don't love. Last time, I didn't even want to drink what I ordered. And they're just as pricey as anywhere else; 2 drinks and 2 muffins was $20.

Great little coffee shop with an eclectic feel. Great decor.. Not too busy on a Saturday morning.

Loved this quaint little neighborhood coffee joint! Great coffee, great muffin, not so great bagel though. Cool interior and puppy friendly. Will go back for sure, just not for the bagels, lol.

Great beverages, staff and atmosphere. Black Crow also attempts to be as environmentally friendly as possible and they make my heart happy! Starbucks is like week old drip coffee compared to this place.

I learned about this place from my clients and went in to buy gift cards for them. Quaint location, very friendly cashier. Very eclectic and casual atmosphere. The guy in front of me was buying coffee beans and said that is all he drinks. I did not have coffee the day I was there so I can't comment on that.

First off the coffee was amazing! Best local brew so far, also the employees were amazing and helpful very enjoyable. The atmosphere was very homey and calming but a still what you expect from a local coffee shop.

My first time here. Sumatra coffee was delicious. Re-fill was free! Chocolate croissant was good too. Cute place with dim lighting, nice music, 2 rooms. WiFi

The best coffee in St Petersburg paired with amazing baked goods and service. They offer vegan pastry as well as non. Hand pulled espresso has a charm but also great flavor.
