Went for lunch, had the chicken salad and Jill had a samosa and side salad. Both were very good. The athmosphere was inviting, well lit, super clean. Pleasant music not too loud, comfortable chairs and excellent service. We will definitely go back.

What a great little restaurant! I found this place by chance yesterday. I needed a quick lunch and they advertised sandwiches so I figured I'd give em a try....so glad I did!
The place is very clean, and the decor is nice. The bathroom was SPOTLESS, which is kinda rare in Jax...The service was excellent. Timely and attentive without being pesty.
I chose the Turkey and Mozzarella sandwich (I forget the name), because it's hard to screw up a sandwich. It's also hard to impress with a sandwich, but MAN WAS THIS GOOD!! Fresh turkey, fresh mozzarella, and REAL FRENCH BREAD. Absolutely amazing sandwich! They served it with tostada chips from a bag...not sure why.
I'd definitely eat here again

Place is great for lunch! Sandwiches were delicious and I had the carrot and lentil soup which was fantastic and fresh. They have coffee and smoothies and some other appetizers. I also got the dulce de leche cheesecake which was super rich and delicious! I highly recommend you try this place out.

Always come here on vacation. The coffee is always really good, tried a sandwich this time (roasted turkey, Brie, fog jam, Granny Smith apples and arugula on fresh French bread) it was outstanding. Might be joining my fav sandwiches of all time list.

Amazing service and food. Flavors reminded me of my time in Peru. Atmosphere was great, we sat and drank the fabulous sangria while ordering small plates. Will definitely be back!

Stopped in for a quick breakfast bite..clean, updated decor, absolutely delicious veggie bagel and croissant with turkey and Swiss. Great coffee, will have to come back to try the tapas and wine. Definitely will be back!

I’ve eaten here many times and have never had a bad experience. Husband and wife own and run the business and they are as polite as can be. Their food is delicious and I’m happy to support a local family business.

I stopped in while business was slow next door. I ordered a macchiato with caramel; it's just what I needed with the time change. I also ordered a strawberry tart THAT WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD. The berries were fresh and the custard was decadent. I will definitely be in to try another dessert.

Outstanding place. I would be there every day, if I could. Owners are putting heart and soul into that place and it really feels. Their cuban coffee is addictive and their desserts are the best I've encountered in US (seriously, no exaggregation!)

It is a great place overall. Ambience is very cozy and fresh. Food is extraordinarily, simple and sofistivated. All the signature dishes are fusion of Latin cusine with Peruvian flavors.
As a resident in St. Augustine I was tired of the same old cafes with same menu, nothing for the young crowd.
La taza is a great little place to travel with the flavors and new tastes. Must.
