Crucial Coffee Café

Quaint little coffee place. I really enjoyed my fudge latte. The outside seating area was pleasant despite the cold weather today. The gentleman that was serving us was wonderful and patient with our complicated 6 person order. Loved it.

I love coffee...espresso really. When I do get a cup, I avoid the chains as much as possible because I want real coffee - and this is one of a few places around town I will frequent. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the coffee is more than just coffee - it is 'ritualistic'.

The place is looks cute and small. The lady who was working there seemed pretty nice. However, the bubble tea could use a lot of improvement. It seemed watered down and the flavoring was not really prominent. But, it is a really nice place and makes you feel comfortable.

I adore the rustic atmosphere of this place. It fits right into the streets of historic St. Augustine. Thier coffees are amazing too. We had the Snickers cappuccino and it was mind blowing. Not only was the coffee strong and delicious it looked like a piece of art, whipped cream, chocolate syrup and a piece of chocolate art to garnish. The best part was that it is across the street from the fort and one block away from hotel. It's a quaint little cafe that I highly suggest checking out.

Cute little coffee shack, great when there’s no other people

The owner, Wendy, was there and showed us some of the exotic flowers in the charming garden seating area. She brought a bowl of water for my friend's dog, . One person in my party ordered some tea drink to try it and she didn't like it much, so they replaced it with a different drink that she did like at no charge. I was very impressed with the ambiance and the care that Wendy puts into the place.

This place saved our evening. We were scrambling to find a place to eat after missing our reservation elsewhere. They were set to close in 15 minutes, but still agreed to seat us. It then started raining. They still served us drinks while the rain passed, and then promptly reseated us when it stopped. We appreciate their extra effort to accommodate us!

The iced cofee is delicious, very friendly employees, and a great atmosphere.

This is a quaint coffee shack around the corner from the Castillo de San Marcos. They have an extensive menu including a whole page of hot chocolate varieties. I ordered the banana split and it was amazing. It came with whipped topping, cinnamon, and a piece of hardened chocolate drizzle. Overall amazing independent coffee shop vibes with outstanding quality, and unique atmosphere, with quaint outdoor seating. Perfect way to end an evening of Christmas lights in St Augustine!
