Banana River Cafe

Great food. Huge selection. My BLT with guacamole was awesome! The service was very attentive. They had a wonderful velvet pancake with strawberries and cream cheese glaze.

Excellent old-fashioned breakfast, with new ideas as well, perhaps my top new breakfast in Melbourne, which says a lot! Oh - much cheaper than those other two top-end breakfast places here in MLB.

My boyfriend and I came here on our way back home to New York on a Wednesday morning and by the time we finished our meal the restaurant was completely full of people and I totally understand why. This was the best breakfast food we've had in a long time, maybe ever. My bf got the buffalo chicken ommlet, which he absolutely loved, and I got avocado toast with eggs and one of the specialty pancakes and HOLY COW that pancake was INSANE. Banana, pecan and caramel and perfectly cooked so it was both fluffy and crispy. Even the coffee was awesome, and I haven't started on the service yet. There was one women serving the entire place by herself, and as I said, every table was full. She was killing it! I didn't catch her name but she was blonde and super sweet. We'll definitely be coming back here when we visit Satellite Beach again. I wish I could take Banana River back to NY with me!

Ok this is a great locals place that has a varied menu with numerous surprises. Breakfast is an adventure. I enjoyed the Banana's Foster French toast. The coffee is first rate without the Starbuck's price. Be careful of the waitresses, they will treat you just like family which means you won't get away with anything. Enjoy one of the best local restaurants around. I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

Holy hell the food here is amazing!!!
I ordered the Carmel sea salt French toast and it was literally the best French toast I've ever had!!!
Service was a little slow, but the food more then makes up for the wait.

OH MY GAWD! This place is the BEST breakfast place I've ever had, hands down! The service was excellent, food was amazing, and the staff was so welcoming. Kudos to Eric, our waiter, for making our experience so inviting and pleasant!

Consistently great breakfast & lunch. We love BRC. Pet-friendly patio. Good, strong coffee (they use locally roasted beans!). Specials are always a win.

My wife and I we're literally their first customers when they first opened years ago. We have always loved everything about this local restaurant! A wonderful place for breakfast or lunch! Lorin does some amazing and creative things. Plus the service is always great! A true local gem!
