Absolutely amazing!! Stopped in for breakfast. Was greeted by Emerson, chef and owner - thank you!! Ordered Pigs in a Pond and it was delicious!! Two over easy eggs draped over a delicious biscuit with perfectly crispy bacon and cheese melted in the biscuit. All this surrounded but the best sausage gravy ever. I'll have to go back to get a picture because it was so good, I forgot to get a pic to share.. lol.. Will be one of my weekly stops from now on !!!

Banana, pecan, brown sugar French toast was awesome! Great amount of eggs on the side c yummy ham. Ice coffee was tasty and the waitress was sweet. Will definitely return soon. Support your local eateries!!

Terrible service… Waited over 30 minutes for a patty melt. Of course there were excuses. The sandwich had a funny aftertaste… Couldn't eat it going to take it home to my dogs. The macaroni salad was disgusting! I should've gone with my tried and true… Sun on the beach! Needless to say I won't be back!

Love the food here. Only problem I have is every time I come in I am never greated and don't know if I seat myself or wait. Employees see you but no one ever says anything. Also, there is only one waitress and it looks like she is running around with her head cut off. I felt so bad for her. They definitely need more help there.

If you can get the chicken and dumplins, by all means get a large order....better than my mamas....but I wont tell!

To begin, the food was great and the service was friendly. Dishes had far more than we needed and we could have shared easily. We each had a different potato stack. The biscuits were the best I can recall in this area.
The dishes included a cheese sauce which was wonderful and not drowned in sauce, which is great.
However, if you prone to sensory overload, have hearing difficulties, or difficulties with auditory processing, this is not the place for you. The surfaces are all reflective with nary a soft surface anywhere. We were there around 11am and the decibel level was consistently at 85 without the cafe being full. As it filled, it often hit 90, the loudness of powertools, a lawnmower of industrial factory floor. We were beginning to feel agitated and could have conversation only if shouted, as many people were doing, so we stopped talking altogether, ate, and left.
there are two tables outside, but they were always full, which tells me there were other who wanted to enjoy the great breakfast but also wanted to be able to carry on a conversation.

Nice big pancakes. Won't leave hungry.

This is probably the best cafe in the area. With locally roasted coffee and a phenomenal menu, this is a must-visit. We've eaten here a handful of times and always had great food and service.

We LOVE the Banana River Cafe! You'll get great food and wonderful personal service every time you visit. They offer your standard, basic breakfast and lunch. However, every day they make unique and delicious specials which will make your taste buds dance! Best of all the check will not put your wallet in a choke hold. Give them a try! You won't regret it.

One of the best breakfasts I've ever had you have to try the sausage gravy, and the biscuits are buttered and grilled to perfection! 10% military discount which is highly appreciated, friendly fast service. My first time there but I will definitely be back!
