Banana River Cafe

This used to be our favorite local breakfast place for years. But when we tried it last time it was under new ownership. We waited 45 minutes to be served a much more mediocre breakfast than times past. The owner who waited on us apologized but offered just 10% off our check. In contrast, years ago when I'd commented to a waitress that they'd forgotten avocado in my wrap, immediately the previous owner told the waitress that there was no charge and I remember that to this day (after gladly giving him thousands of dollars in business in the years that followed). But after the 45 minute wait and the offer of a mere 10% back, we haven't gone back to the new owner. We've moved on.

Superb! I try something different every time I go there and it is always delicious. Today was the chicken and cheese quesadilla. Yum.

Great Breakfast this morning. Had the Power Bowl and French Toast. My husband and I THOROUGHLY enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be back. Such a cute place with excellent service!

LOVE this place! Amazing food and super sweet staff. My dad always requests to come here when he's in town. Bananas Foster French toast is phenomenal!

The food was very good. Our waitress was great. I think there was 1 waitress and 1 in the kitchen but they did a great job.

We were sad when Blue Lemon Cafe closed (in this location). But we're super happy that we gave the Banana River Cafe a shot! The carnitas and Ancho chicken today were excellent! Great selection of hot sauces. Really nice menu, but even more impressive specials! Prices were quite fair as well. We left very content. We'll be back!

Just ok. Omelette was good, but nothing special. Husband had 2 eggs over medium, again nothing special. Took quite a while for food, considering it was breakfast.

Best Breakfast I've enjoyed to the last bite! Clean, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Being a former owner of a successful breakfast / lunch cafe in NH, I was impressed!, Banana River Cafe is outstanding

Fast service, coffee refills, very tasty food with a good selection for every appetite. The french toast was out of this world. Brand new parking lot was spacious and well marked.

Great food, friendly service. Considering they only had one lady, Taylor, running the show during breakfast rush, she did a great job and was quick!
