It is HOT in Sarasota, and this delicious ice cream cookie sandwich is EXACTLY what I needed this afternoon. Plus, the business has an AMAZING mission supporting, hiring, and giving opportunities to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They are known in the Sarasota for their ice cream and beignets. So if you are in need for ice cream, beignets, coffee, etc, check them out and help support inclusion.

Incredible coffee and even BETTER beignets. I mean seriously the best I’ve ever had. Try all the various flavors and dips! The cinnamon was perfect and strawberry jam was so refreshing.

Their inclusive employment and outreach is so empowering for the Sarasota community. Everyone working while I visited was delightful :)

I had one scoop of the vegan peanut butter and honey ice cream. It was so delicious! I was also able to sample the nitro coffee brew and the stout horchata flavor was my favorite!

Not only beautiful and delicious but you get to enjoy great cookies, muffins, ice cream, and coffee but it's a great cause. We will be back for sure, probably every week! Thank you 💗

Had no idea what this place was, just a highly reviewed coffee shop. Great coffee, for sure - the strawberry cold brew was a trip but very delicious - and staff are mostly IDD. Great service too, everybody should come here

What a heart warming experience. I never heard of this company before let alone their mission for inclusion and diversity. The girl who made my coffee was so excited about how she made it look..... it was the sweetest thing ever. The coffee was good....a little pricey but well worth it. The coffee shop itself was cute and outdoor seating available.

This place is awesome. I had the cookie monster with smores ice cream sandwich. My wife had a latte with the bengiets and strawberry jam dipping sauce. Everything is homemade. The staff was very friendly and most of the staff has special needs but they do an awesome job! Props to the owner for having the vision to hire special needs employees and using them to be productive people in our society😁 I was brought back to being a kid again during my wonderful dining experience.

GREAT GREAT GREAT! People food atmosphere friendly uplifting heartfelt value taste!!! A little thankful I am not right around the corner or the beignets would take over my life! Amazing! A non-profit so worth supporting!

Hands down Our favorite ice cream, coffee, entry place in Sarasota!!! I love the mission of Rise and Nye’s, but the ice cream, treats, and coffee truly are the best, even if they didn’t already have an awesome mission!! You can make your own custom ice cream sandwich, and the beignets are amazing too!! The coffee is top notch too!! And really cute atmosphere! Not to be missed!!

What a wonderful store that delivers both in its great food and atmosphere. From workers that greet you at the door with a smile to delicious desserts and coffees you are in for a treat when you go here. And make sure you try the beignets, the best I have had outside of New Orleans.
