Palma Coffee

We love seeing people build community by sharing their passion. I’ve been watching the pieces of Palma come together over the last few months and our first visit was incredible.

Amanda and Manuel have created a space that feels warm inviting and so peaceful. When I walked in Manuel was talking to a small cluster of people about origin, roasting and extraction of coffee and the care put into the cup showed. My cap was balanced and the milk was textured perfectly. Amanda is exceptional warm and pleasant and her presence brings a peace to the whole shop.

I love seeing coffee shops like Palma do something different. The design, the music, the ocean air, the coffee and the people filling the space are no accident. Job well done Palma your hard work and attention to detail will continue to pay off.

What a wonderful, refreshing spot to find in the Sarasota/Nokomis area. The owners are a very nice couple, who were very knowledgeable and friendly with quality conversation during our stay. Delicious coffee and will definitely be back

Highly Recommend: by far the best coffee place in the area. Had their special with coffee with rose and their iced mocha, and they were amazing. I can't really describe why or how but it tasted great, well balanced all around. It was probably one of the best iced mochas and coffees I've had thus far. This will be my first place to go to next time I'm in the area and recommend it to anyone.

Really kind and knowledgeable baristas, minimal yet stylish interior, single origin coffee for the coffee snobs like myself.

This is really fantastic small batch specialty coffee! The owners find and build relationships directly with farmers in Columbia, which helps bring the value back to the coffee growers, something that sorely needs to be addressed more in the specialty coffee world. It also allows them to and select and offer really unique, interesting and delicious single origin varieties. The atmosphere in their shop is super chill, and they could not be nicer people. Very warm and welcoming. It’s well worth the trip to go sit and enjoy a delicious pour over in the sun on their little patio. Highly recommended!

Small Business shout out! Today we stopped in at Palma Coffee for some delicious espresso, baked goods and tea. The owners were so very kind and informative about their selection process and about how they were able to grow from a small idea. The environment is full of sunshine, fun music, beautiful plants, organic and reusable supplies, coffee nerd stuff like pour over cups and glasses made out of recycled coffee! By nerd I mean me, I love coffee and all the ways you can make it! Have a look at some pics and go visit! Additionally, we were able to meet the artist who made the beautiful mural for Palma Coffee, Alissa Silvers . She paints murals and does design work . Not to mention she's such a pleasure to chat with!

Good people serving good coffee! We love this shop, so humble and peaceful. The vibes are 10/10, they really know what they’re doing! The matcha is to die for.

Wow! We were amazed to find this place… as good as any Flat White I‘ve had in London, Tokyo or LA but served up by the genuine & friendly owners of the shop without the pretentiousness. The spot itself is beautifully decorated and a serene place to enjoy a coffee & snacks. Will definitely be back if we‘re ever passing again! ☕️✨

High quality coffee and friendly service! Nice space and pastries too. Definitely worth checking out. Love that their coffees are cheaper if you enjoy them there rather than taking them to go

I've been here twice and they knew my name the first time I went. Takeout coffee is available but you'll miss the amazing coziness and creative environment that's in store. AND the vinyl and book selection only make it better!
