Elixir Tea House

Great place! I loved the ambiance with the private tea rooms. It was fun to choose tea from a large variety of interesting types and flavors and the cakes and desserts all looked incredible. Definitely a different (richer) experience when compared to the average American coffee shop. I will definitely try to return if I come back to Sarasota in the future.

The place was super busy tonight, but my friend and I were able to be seated within 10 minutes. I could tell that the workers were eager to serve their customers, but were stretched a little thin with a full house and the wait for food was an hour. I don’t blame anyone for that— it’s just the way it was— but it does lower my review to 4 stars when it would otherwise be five.

I also regret that I left and forgot to leave a tip!!! As I said, the service was stretched a little thin, but it was still worth a tip. Sorry to those working tonight!

Very good. Had a rose black tea iced, a caramel latte and the antipasto plate. Great atmosphere with private rooms to enjoy your tea and food.

What a gem! This place is adorable. Great place to go alone or with a group. My wife has celiac and we were concerned about that darn wheat in the tea. Well, the owner brought out the book from the supplier and according to their site none of their teas have gluten. This meant my wife could enjoy nearly every drink on the menu. The tea was delicious!!! But the atmosphere was even better.

Just went here the other night with my two friends after they mentioned how amazing it was. They were definitely right! Extremely well priced, cozy atmosphere, and semi-private rooms to start you off. The tea was absolutely fantastic as well. What a really nice place to hang out with company you enjoy being around!

Before leaving we had a great time talking with the staff and felt very "at home". Wonderful business with wonderful people. I hope they're always able to keep doing what they're doing. - Lizzy

We did the high tea for my grandmother’s birthday and everything was delicious, the experience was relaxing and fun. We had our own private room with beautiful decor, the spread of sandwiches and desserts was ideal. They even had gluten free sandwiches and desserts available. The tea was wonderful. Definitely will be back!

This place is amazing! Like, truly. The decoration and the ambience of the place it’s so cozy and chic. The food it’s SUPER GOOD, and they have such variety of teas and the desserts and the sandwiches, the sandwiches are to die for and I am not a sandwich person so that should tell you something. Also, but not less important, the girl that serves there it’s so attentive and nice, and she made sandwich I tried (grilled chicken, try it if you go please) I am not from Sarasota or live close by so I am so sad I am not gonna be able to make this a regular place of mine.

We celebrated my mother’s 90th birthday today here and we’re made to feel so welcome and special! We can’t say enough about the service, the food and the tea. Also amazing is all the thought that went into making this tea house so relaxing. Thank you so much!
