C'est La Vie - Pastries Breakfast & Dinner

I don't think there are words to describe how great EVERYTHING was and I wish I had a second stomach to try all the pastries after my breakfast.

Excellent service & food on this first visit. The Briand salad was very good.

We came, we ordered...The desert selection was good and out of the 4 sweets we got, the Napoleon was my favorite. However, we felt a little rushed as the tables and chairs were being gathered and put way while we were still sitting there...

If you are looking for real French pastry, that’s the place. With French owners, I guess this is the one place where you can have a decent Mille Feuilles (Napoleon) in the US besides Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie at Epcot.. bûche de Noël specifically Croquante is just amazing. Everything is made from scratch and you don’t get this weird artificial taste you find in most bakeries. Nice atmosphere with outdoor seating in the lovely sunny Sarasota, just like a cafe in Paris.

Reminds me of my Belgian heritage. I love hearing several languages being spoken at breakfast. The service is quick & the portions are very generous!

Extremely average food. Go here if you're over 75 and lost your taste buds, I guess. I ordered a tuna salad - it was dry and tasteless. The servers are good. There's zero effort in a vibe or feeling outside.

We stopped in for breakfast while we were in Sarasota on vacation and then continued to visit the rest of our trip since the food was so delicious! The bakery selection is amazing, everything tasted so fresh and delicious! Not to mention, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! Can't wait to visit again!
