C'est La Vie - Pastries Breakfast & Dinner

I've been coming here for 15 years..it's the best authentic French food outside of France! If you're in a hurry, just get take out. The service is usually as authentically French as the food (friendly, but not always fast). In France, meals are not meant to be quick, but it's well worth the slow coffee refills when the coffee is as good as it is at C'est La Vie!

Great place to grab a pastries or a quick savory crepe. Tastes just like being in France. Wow, just wow.

Beautiful French Cafe. Fast hot food with delicious pantries. Oh by the way if you miss speaking French they actually speak French here. Come practice your French. They are a great friendly staff.

I have been here just about 6 times and every time I would get the same waitress, Uliana, she is extremely hard working and quickly with her service, very polite and comical, I would definitely come here again when I am back in town, everyone else are friendly and just good people with a good heart.

I didn’t eat here but I got the pistachio mousse. It was very delicious. The place looks really cute too. One day is like to try their food.

Great spot for lunch/brunch for people visiting Sarasota. Has outdoor seating on Main Street and a large indoor space as well. Food is good, seems fairly authentic but I've never been to France to compare. Photo is the St. Malo which is a BLT and swiss on a baguette. Previously I've had the Croque Monsieur which is very good. Desserts also look very well made.

A gem in town. Great service and good food, what more could you want? The bread is worth it, and the croissants are fabulous.

Very strange experience. The atmosphere was really bad especially between the staff that seems to argue. Food was really disappointing and even the croissants were not close to what you can find in France. Only good point was the espresso and the latte we had. This is sad because the terrace is really great.

Delicious pastries, breads, and croissants - dine in or carry out. The spinach, goat cheese quiche with a side of potatoes was excellent.

What a great fine in Sarasota. The staff is warm and friendly. The desserts are fabulous and the wine is excellent!! Highly recommend,
