Fosko Coffee Barre

Beautiful Cafe with some of the best coffee I've ever had. Next time I'm driving through Pensacola, I will certainly pay them another visit.

My first visit to this place was probably my last. The menu is in an unmarked folder under the counter, and not obvious… so when I ordered, I had just found it, but all I wanted was a matcha latte with whole milk. I asked for a match latte. She asked what flavor of syrup I would like, and I said none, please. Then she offered soy, oat, or skim milk. I asked if I could please just have whole milk and no syrup.
She said the whole milk would curdle with matcha, so, no. I have had this drink a hundred times before, various places,not curdled. Makes me pretty happy. (A quick google search revealed that if this combo curdles, either the milk is bad, or the matcha is old, or low quality.)So now I am indecisive, and quickly searching the menu, that was hard to find, for another option, because, imo, those three milk options are all garbage. I eat a high fat, low carb diet. Not rare, these days. Another barista walks up behind her and the first asks the second about the whole milk. The second looks at me and repeats slowly ‘Oat, soy, or skim only’…with a tone usually reserved for a naughty child. I wish I had walked out, but I said ‘skim, I guess’. I proceeded to pay the $15 for that and a mocha for my brother. For $6.50, my drink was weak, and unsatisfying, and combined with the arrogant, passive aggressive attitude the barista gave me… no.
I’m a 55 yo man. I moved here from sf to get away from soy milk and spoiled children. So, here’s your bad review, you earned it. Be more respectful of your customers, and their’ wishes. All I wanted was matcha and whole milk. No syrup, no soy, no attitude.

Wonderful employees who made the time spent very warm and friendly. Delicious crepes, and if you are in to unique coffees then this place has them! It would be nice to have more seating, we had to wait for a whole for a table, but overall a 5 star place.

The menu at Fosko Coffee Barre is extensive, featuring a variety of coffee, tea, smoothies, and pastries. The coffee is locally sourced and expertly brewed, with a variety of blends and roasts to choose from. The baristas are knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to recommend a new drink or answer any questions you may have.

The coffee is great, however the service is extremely slow. We waited over 20 minutes for coffee while one employee made coffees (1 at a time). There was an employee who literally spun in circles for 20 minutes not doing a single task -maybe she is new and training idk, but I feel like someone else could have helped during that time to speed things up

I’m not a big fan of coming downtown. I avoid it at all cost but I usually stop in here and it’s always worth it. The coffee is excellent and the crepes are out of this world. The empty plate WAS the remnants of a Tiramisu (my favorite dessert). My wife had the apple pie. It’s nice to come to such a clean and inviting environment. The owner works the crepe station which is always a heart warming thing to see.

*Update* 3/11/20 We just left here in an unmeasurable amount of frustration. Obviously my review about was a 5 star but after today’s visit I’m giving them a questionable 2 star. We loved loved loved the Tiramisu crepe last time but this visit we weren’t allowed to purchase it because we didn’t have identification......because of the “uncooked alcohol” in it. Get a life! I’m 33 years old! My beards probably older then this woman. And the absolutely, obnoxious woman had a bit of a snobby attitude. This is the reason why I don’t come downtown. Thanks Foskos for helping me realize why I should avoid businesses like this.

the coffee was good, the crepes were really good, but it’s the whole vibe together that makes this place great!! Such a great space and layout

Loved this place! Got a doppio espresso and you can tell they take good care of the machines. Not bitter at all. Crepes were great and have a nice wide selection of toppings. Can't wait to go back and try some more!

Tried the Ice Chai Tea! It was great! Cute coffee shop! Loved the vibe!
