We stopped in for breakfast because we kept hearing great things about it. It did not disappoint. Those biscuits, yall!!! Nearly every inside table was taken. It took a bit to get our food, but it was worth the wait. We look forward to going back for lunch soon. Our meals with one coffee and one water cane to just under $20.

Good home cooking. Menu varies daily. Owner was behind the counter. Very clean and the service was good. I'm definitely adding this little place to my favorites list.
Coconut Macadamia Lemon Cheesecake was fantastic (~$8). One of the best cheesecakes I've ever had... Meal with drink and desert plus a $5 tip was about 30 bucks.

YOU HAVE TO VISIT THE LOCAL CAFE!
Had the breakfast and "Oh my Goodness " it was absolutely wonderful. The kitchen staff makes everything, they don't have a microwave so you know your food is truly cooked to order.
The atmosphere is very nice. Makes you want to just take your time and savor each bite of your food. The staff are welcoming and accommodating. Also ask about the Chefs Specials!
Can't wait to go back! #Goals Try everything on the menu!
Came back 12/10 and had lunch. Country fried steak, white gravy well see the pic. I also had the squash and lemon soup and it is devine!

My wife and I had the 2-2-2 special. 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, and 2 pieces of bacon. I also got sausage patties on the side as well. The breakfast was delicious and the staff is very attentive and courteous. We have also had lunch there before. The meat and 3 vegetables is to die for as they specialize on the selections they offer. One more thing, you have got to try their desserts. The cake selections are very creative and a must try! We will be regular customers for sure!

Wife and I stopped in here for the first time last Friday morning for breakfast. Inside has around 9 or 10 tables, and about half were occupied. They also have some outside seating. Our server, Jennifer, invited us to sit anywhere and took our drink orders within a couple minutes. I had the Chad's Special and spouse had the Bisquits and Gravy. Both dishes were superb and very generous portions. Well worth the price paid. Jennifer was very attentive the whole time, even with all her other tables. Overall great first impression. We'll definitely be back, maybe for lunch next time.

Again, this is one of those reviews that I'm a little nervous to write. I'm nervous because this place is so very good that I want to keep it a secret, but it's also so very good that I have to share this amazing place! We just left, and I cannot speak Holly enough of everything:. Greatly you, great service, and delicious food. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel welcome. I like the way the menu changes daily, and I'll have to figure out a way to get back here so I can try every single day! And the desserts... Good Lord! Absolutely delicious!
This is one of the best (I only count a few as the best) meat and threes in town! Very highly recommended!

Great folks and wonderful service. I loved the fried chicken and mushroom rice!! It is a nice variety of menu items and such a great value for all the food you get!!! And we even took some dessert home (Italian cream cake) for later tonight.

We are definitely coming back. The food was delicious, the servers were gracious and professional, and the restaurant was such a peaceful environment.
We had the meatloaf with green beans, Mac n' cheese, and mashed potatoes. As well as the pork fritter with spinach casserole and wild rice with finely chopped mushrooms. I didn't think to take a photo until after I started eating.
I would highly suggest The Local Cafe for breakfast and/ or lunch.

My husband and I both really enjoyed our lunch at The Local Cafe on Sunday. The service was great and our food was delicious. They have excellent cooks in the kitchen. We had the roast beef special with carrots and potatoes. The meat was so tender and perfect and the vegetables were all so good too with generous servings. Based on our experience, we can recommend this great restaurant.
