It takes a lot for me to review a business. I love leaving positive reviews, however, for this I cannot. We are here with our family for spring break. We were so excited to try this coffee shop with how cute it is from the outside. We arrived at 8am. We ordered two coffees, and I asked for 2 cinnamon rolls (as we read these were good). The cashier said “sorry. Sold out.” The owner chimed in behind her very rudely, “you should’ve gotten here earlier”. Let me remind you, we arrived at 8am, they open at 7am. It was pouring rain and there was only one other family in there when we walked in. I ignored it and ordered something else. When our coffees were ready, they were not good. We had to tailor them to make them decent, and even then, we ended up dumping them out. When we were about to leave, the owner was rudely ordering around her employee. Speaking very loudly. “You put them out of order! Keep that door open!” The woman stood there without saying anything. It took a lot for me not to chime in on the woman’s behalf getting berated like that in front of customers.
Kindness goes a long way (as someone else reviewed). If you are not kind to your employees, you’ll soon find yourself alone, without anyone to help you.
We will be making a little drive to different breakfast spots for the remainder of our stay.

If you stop in Mexico Beach for one thing, make sure it's to stop here and grab a cinnamon roll and a cup of coffee! Both are excellent!

Beast coffee shop on the beach!!! Great breakfast and customer service!!

Staff were very nice. Coffee was decent and the pastries were eaten fully so they must've been pretty good. Menu felt limited and a little hard to comprehend. Many food items were unavailable and others had no variability as far as vegetarian options. A decent local option for coffee.

Great coffee. Nice small food menu that is good. Very quite and casual.

Wasn’t very impressed. The biscuits and croissants very definitely jimmy deans boxed frozen ones and so were the biscuits. The lady at the cash register was very rude but the lady making coffee was very nice! Hate it was the only place in town because it was not good at all! Won’t be going back

The apple cinnamon scone was really good, but the latte was really weak and just kinda tasted like milk. It was also expensive for what you got. Better than Starbucks, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

We were a short walk away from this place and tried it out. The woman upfront was pretty friendly, the younger guy working seemed a bit stressed but he wasn't rude by any means.

Wish I had tried drip coffee instead. The Chai and frap were just too typical to know or judge how their coffee tastes. The cinnamon roll was outstanding, the sausage biscuit was pretty average.

Besides that the shop is pretty cute, they have a few things for sale there. The sign needs to be easier to read imo but no big deal. The seating outside is a bit cramped and a lady outside asked us to be quiet while she did paperwork so we just sat in awkward silence.

We tried to come again to try it, but the hours were way too short to be able to.

I'd try it out, Especially if you want an amazing cinnamon roll.
