Service was great, I like a casual atmosphere. Staff was patient and helpful. Smash Brown was very greasy, at least it seemed as greasy or more than a McDonald's one and I'm not a fan of that. Coffee was nice and they have syrups so bonus points on that. I had asked for an extra egg on my bagel sandwich but he misheard me and put it on an egg bagel instead. Best mistake, that egg bagel is
Definitely more expensive than Einstein but I think the flavor is worth. They clearly cook on a flat top griddle and I love that flavor.

Since 192 Bagel shut its doors, Bagel 13 is the only game in town if you live in the south Melbourne area, and I'm grateful for that.
Are their bagels the best in town? No, other options like Bagel Joe's on Lake Washington are much better. But to me, this is fine. You're going to get far superior bagels at Bagel 13 than you will at Dunkin, or Einstein, especially if you get a breakfast sandwich. I recently had a steak egg and cheese with Taylor ham on an everything and it was awesome!
One complaint is that the butter is definitely blended with margarine. Something to note if you only like real butter. On the plus side, the service is great. Everyone is very nice, and they get you your food quickly.
Overall, it's a good place to go to get a decent bagel. Don't expect it to rival bagels in the NE, but definitely expect better quality than you get from most chains.

Pretty chill spot. This is a "must stop" post-workout. Staff is awesome and super sweet as well. Didn't have lox the first time I went, but they still had other options to choose from. Plenty of options!
Note: The bagels thru the glass are for display. If you look across the street, there's a high school which probably buys out the bagels throughout the week. So I don't set my expectations on getting exactly what I want. Be open to other options.. 😊

I showed up 2 hours before close and none of the bagels I wanted were available. The sandwich I got was good. I bought a 1/2 dozen of what they had to take home. FYI- just because you take a bagel and don't punch the hole all the way through does not mean you can made a bialiy. They do NOT carry bialys despite what they call it. Its not even close to a bialy.

My partner and I have come here for years, and I am always taken care of by Annelese, Matt, or Daniel. Never before have I felt so welcomed as a regular. Literally my caller ID or just pulling up in my car was enough for my order to get started, perfect every time. Bagel 13 has become part of my weekly ritual and I am always impressed with the staff and food that they make. I wish every location could have such a dedicated entourage. Thank you guys for making this place so much more.

The lady behind the counter was clearly tweaking on something. There were predatory old men trying to hit on high school girls in the lobby. The display case with dozens of fresh looking bagels is not where you pick the bagels you want either. Just skip it

I spent over $30 on a blt and an bacon egg and cheese. I asked if they had an Asiago and cinnamon they said no. I had to get pain for both my sandwich’s. Two customers later someone asked for the same things I asked and she magically had some. Very disappointing and disrespectful. The cashier seems like she doesn’t want to be there and is such in a rush to get people out instead of trying to see if they have it or not. If I could give this place zero starts I will. I will not be coming back again.

Horrible rude man who prepared my bagel today!! I ordered lox on an everything bagel originally. It was nasty and salty. I then asked for a cinn. Raisen bagel. After eating half and noticed mold smh . Worst establishment EVER!! IF I COULD PUT A ZERO STAR I WOULD. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

I was once trying to purchase breakfast from this place and there was a homeless man in there begging ppl for money. Instead of calling thr cops for soliciting or trying to get the attention of the complex security guard, they just ignored the man and left every customer to have to deal with him. Im sorry but grow a set and kick ppl like this out of your business. It makes customers like myself not want to go there anymore. Overall though, food is okay. Nothing crazy and prices are decent

Will never go again coffee good bagel good but the butter melted all over the place. Had plenty of buttered bagels in the past from various places. This just turned us off
