Java Kava Cafe Kratom Kava

The kratom tastes really good and still gives you strong effects, unlike some other Kava bars in the area. The delta 8 prerolls they sell had me feeling super nice too! The staff was so sweet and informative, I will definitely be back.

I stopped by the Java Kava Cafe in Largo and had the best cuban sandwich in the area hands down if you have not tried it you must do so. Then I had there Kava shell, it was the best tasting I have ever had anywhere. Highly recommended..

Paul goes above and beyond with customer service the Cuban sandwich is the best EVER the pork is tender and delicious the bread soft toasty and TASTY...Paul smokes his pork on site. Delicious.

When I asked to use a reusable cup, you stated that 'I can't handle any cups, the health department won't let me.' That is a complete lie, the health department only stipulates that you don't handle the part of the cup that will be consumed from. I can provide a copy of the code section if need be.

You also ADMITTED today when you kicked me out, that it is not because of health code that you don't accept reusable cups, but rather personal policy. So you personally do not want to accept reusable cups. This has nothing to do with our health,, and has everything to do with you not wanting to be open minded.

In summary, you are directly responsible for filling our landfills with hundreds if not thousands of plastic-ware a week. Hope you rest easy with that on your conscious.

My recommendation: Take an extra second and accommodate for the people that have their reusable cups. We only have one planet, we're trying to do our part to lesson our impact. You're no better then the corporates who sold you your single use products if you don't offer an alternative.

In response to you; sure, plant based plastics are maybe a fraction less destructive to the environment. This is not to say that they do not create pollution. The goal here is ZERO waste, Paul. Let's minimize our impact as much as possible.

If you decide to accept environmental awareness and change your policy, then I will gladly change my review. Otherwise this will remain public. I could care less about you steeping my personal tea. This was such a laid back perfect space! Calming inside and beautiful outside area. Coffee was great and service was very friendly.

Cool place! The owners make you feel welcome and at home. They gladly supply the Kava at a price that leaves me saying, "I'm glad I came to Java Kava Cafe because now I can enjoy Kava/Kratom plus a smoothie or sandwich." Which yes, they have smoothies and sandwiches so you're all set.
