Kahwa Coffee

Kahwa in Lakewood Ranch is great. The coffee is fair priced, delicious, and they have good sandwiches/pastries. I just called in a large order to be picked up for work, and Bam I walked in the door and there was my order made flawlessly. We have needed a great coffee shop and now we have one. Thanks for the excellent service and always with a smile. See you again very soon.

Iced coffee was good but the customer service was not. The guy working the counter acted like he was bothered to have to wait on a customer. He walked away from the counter and never said as much as “ thank you”....and this was even before my credit card was done being charged.

This place has poor management and low customer service. I ordered a 1/2 coffee ☕️ with 1/2 nitro combination, and was charged for the same price as a coffee instead of the nitro price which was great. However, the next day was charged the price of a nitro drink for the same order.

They need to have standards and processes in place for orders not on the menu and once consensus has been obtained, not veer from this.

I’ve been a loyal customer for four years, but am strongly considering breaking ties with this brand.

While I’m on this subject, the paper cups used for hot drinks is very unstable and the plastic lids used many times flop off the cup when taking a drink.

Coffee and food are priced high but worth it. They also have good customer service.

The coffee and pastries are always great here. I love their ham egg and cheese croissants! The only frustration I had was they were not taking cash and I had lost my debit card a few days before.

I stop here every time I'm nearby. Great place for a good coffee. If you aren't a big fan of the "over roasted" bean taste, you'll love the house blend. The house blend and 1 specialty blend (specialty blend varies daily) are served but outside of that the options are limited. I haven't had anything other than the coffee which is excellent. Imagine a slightly milder Pike Place from Starbucks. Prices are run of the mill, refills are .50 and the cafe is centrally located. Highly recommend.

Please keep your Aloha Latte! It's seriously the best! The entire transaction was great, drink was great, but I don't like the paper straws, they start to get soggy and bend at the point where the straw touches the plastic and it's hard to finish your drink. However, I do have reusable straws and you offer reusable straws for purchase, I love this!

Kahwa is a great concept, and it's different than that other coffee place. My only complaint with KC is that the coffee is consistently (and I mean like 5 times consistently) too cool. It's already cold by the time I get half way through the cup. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the way KC brews to get certain flavors, or what, but I've had the same experience at the SRQ location as well. I don't like my coffee too hot, so I'm saying this with the context of "very hot is not what I'm looking for."
