Mitchell's Coffee House

So clean and relaxing. Very friendly and accommodating. They offer some baked goods and a large variety of smoothies, sodas and coffee drinks. Our Pineapple Smoothie was very good and refreshing.

Family owned. Excellent coffee and food. The Mitchell's support local non-profit organization. They offer such a great selection of sweets that are homemade. The gumbo is good for everyday not just cool weather. Great sandwiches as well.

The little girl at the front counter with the mask on Wednesday morning 3/8 was so rude. Then when my food was ready she hid behind the case of pastries and called my name 2 times. Usually they will bring it to me but she was not having that. It is sad the help these days and no one will say anything. I come in here 2 times a week but thinking of going somewhere else with her attitude. This is the 2nd time

Good coffee, good food, good atmosphere. These are the attributes I look for in a coffee house. Mitchell's does well in all. Friendly laid back service. My carrot cake was moist and tasty. Its the type of place that you can be comfortable relaxing with a laptop or book. In fact a few people, including me, were doing just that. It might be the only place I have found so far that is good for that. This is the best coffee cafe I have been to in Florida. I think they stop serving cooked food around 2pm.

This is the classic coffee house experience! Great hot and cold beverages, a case full of hand crafted bakery items and local art on the walls. Some nights there is live music. These young men were delightful!
When you are in downtown Lakeland, stop in this institution that never disappoints!

Absolutely double fantastic. Went to Mitchell's June 18th at 10am. Hands were dirty had to change license plate. Rest room very clean and plenty of soap. Ordered ranchero broettio. Came hot and extra salsa and hot medium roast coffee. Server very pretty and every body saw couples retreat cause they all had smiles. Will come again.

The Mitchell's Breakfast Burrito is the absolute best. You can choose Chipotle or Salsa, depends how much you want to spice up your Life. Also the Egg, Bacon, Cheese Croissant is tasty and not overpriced. Loving the Iced Coffee to cool off. Zach is a wonderful addition to the Mitchell's Team. Seems he got it all together and runs the place well.

Recommended by a friend, who's niece owns this place, since we were in the area for the weekend. Nice selection of food and coffee as well as other goodies. We did enjoy both the food and the coffee! Family oriented and friendly. A few outdoor tables and chairs on a beautiful quiet street. Oh, and let's not forget the beautiful local art for purchase on the walls!

Thank you Mitchell's for letting us use your room for our book club! The coffee was great, and the pistachio muffins are fantastic. Looking forward to my next visit.
