Mitchell's Coffee House

Mitchell's is the epitome of small town business doing well with a coffee like no other. The vibe is local open and comforting. Took a friend here for the 1st time he was utterly impressed and says this is what a coffee shop should be. For what's worth we did not have Any food today.. Congratulations of being a local establishment providing exceptional product

Stopped in for a nitro cold brew with milk, and it’s delicious! The young lady behind the counter (blonde, short hair) was very friendly. They serve breakfast and have plenty of space for study groups, larger parties of people. I’d come back.

Really cute... but I think people come here for the coffee more than the food. Pancakes have no flavor and are dry.ham is sliced ham for sandwiches. Service was great coffee was amazing but food mehh

Needs some updating. The tables and chairs and literally everything about this place has been the same in the 15+ years I’ve been coming here. It is very dirty. Customer service is always great!

I was near lakeland in the morning and searched for the coffee place around me. I decided to have coffee and quick breakfast at Mitchell's Coffee House. It is a small cafe with a very good atmosphere. They also have books which one can read and also work from the cafe. After browsing through the menu I decided to order Latte Espresso Drink and Veggie wrap. I got my latte in 5 minutes. The latte was hot and freshly brewed. I loved the latte. In another 5-10 minutes i got my veggie wrap. The wrap was also delicious and loved the wrap. Amazing cafe with beautiful atmosphere in the cafe.

We ordered the vegetarian options and it was just so bad that I’m actually offended that I was charged for it. Who wants to eat a whole chunk of onion in their veggie wrap? It was all just big chunks of veggies and I paid extra for the hummus and there was hardly any on there..I barely tasted it. My husband ordered the veggie burger and it came on sand which bread and looked like it had been microwaved then slapped between two pieces of bread with a tomato and a piece of lettuce. So bad. Just bad. The people are nice but the food left sooo much to be desired.

Great coffee and great atmosphere. Wonderful 'old standbys' and an excellent rotating variety of pastries. Try the cinnamon rolls or the 'Cocoa Cola' cake.

Lovely atmosphere, very cozy. Friendly, courteous staff, good cappuccino and my raspberry pastry was fresh and flaky. Its a great place to hang out while waiting for people with medical appointments nearby. They have a community bookshelf too. There is a parking lot adjacent which is a bit confusing because it requires an app, but you only have to pay if you are parked more than 2 hours, so dont stress it. You probably wont need it that long.

3rd visit and still loving it. Today we ordered Short stack of pancakes with scrambled eggs with cheese, sausage patty and hash browns. The pancakes are huge and so very tasty, the hash browns are crisp and probably the best I’ve had. We also ordered the bacon cheddar and egg croissant which is always good. We ordered a chocolate croissant and a chocolate donut. The coffees are really tasty and we ordered the I Dream if Jeanie which is a latte with chocolate, caramel and hazelnut. It is dreamy. The staff is always friendly and nice. There are a decent amount of tables inside and a couple tables outside.
